I remember when Rob first posted pictures of the REO Mini Woodvils -- I bookmarked the thread but it wasn't enough so I downloaded the pictures to look at them all the time!
This batch of REOS is mesmerizing!

So Not Kidding!!!!! I printed up the first coat Mini Woodvils on 8" x 10" Glossies!!!!!! They are handy on my desk. I still like looking at them.

Hi Everyone! Just bringing you the latest news on the upcoming REOs from Rob.
REO Grands: my best guess is two weeks...11/11ish.
You can click the notify me tab under each mod, follow the instructions and you will get an email the moment they are listed.
REO Minis: more are coming and will be in stock this week...11/4, 7pm eastern time.
Rob is working on a large lot of Woodvil 18490s. 250 of these should be available in 2-3 weeks from today 10/30.

Variable Voltage Woodvils are coming soon. Rob will be starting these in a couple weeks.
Variable Voltage Reo Grands are coming also. Rob has no release date as of yet. The electronics have been ordered.
Rob is working on a metal 18490 bottom fed mod. My best guess on the ETA would be January 2012.

So i understand the wood ones but the green and blue ones, what kind of material is that?

They are all wood, some are stabilized woods -- here's a description I found for stabilized wood that explains them better than I can:
"Stabilized figured/Burl woods have been impregnated with monomores and acrylics to produce a dimensionally stable wood. Some advantages of stabilized woods are they minimize or totally eliminate:
Shrinking
Cracking
Expanding
Warping
Other benefits of stabilized wood include:
Moisture Stable
Oil Impervious
No Raised Grain"

Here's a little more about stabilized woods:
"Most of these woods are stabilized. Stabilization is a process by which plastic is forced under pressure into the cells of the wood. The beauty of the wood is retained while the wood becomes resistant to water, oils and most solvents. Dyes are sometimes used in the process giving an enhanced color to the wood."

Gil just said the same thing about another blue one in the new pics. Keep your fingers crossed for me please, I love the blues and also the greens but really they are all gob-smacking!The angel wings one you saw is special, I like to look for images in clouds and things too

Row 9, Reo 6 from left, looks like flowers in a field, and the next one, reminds me of the turquoise oceans of the carribean
