Mr. Mann

I thought that I had it mixed but the cinnamon separated again while sitting overnight. This was still VG only. I guess that I'm going to have to gradually add PG until it truly mixes.
My original issue was that I would get weak cinnamon flavor in this recipe and all of a sudden Wham! Cinnamon. Now I know why that happened, I was vaping one of these unmixed lumps without knowing it.
So, do you think I should try the cinnamon flavor that you showed to mix well? You gave an acronym (or abbreviation) for it, can you tell me what it was?
I'll use up the flavoring that I already have by adding PG to it but I would really like to get back to primarily VG.
Thanks in advance.

FlavourArt Cinnamon Ceylon. http://www.eliquidmart.com/cinnamon-by-flavourart/ (A 5 mL from Eliquidmart will cost you $1.69 plus shipping. A 5 mL should last you, but I'd get a 12 mL just in case).

Yeah, that's pretty opaque, and it looks not just opaque but, as you said, slightly separated. What percentage did you use?

Mr. Mann,

It was approx. 6 percent. There were equal parts cinnamon, sweetner and raspberry totaling 20 percent, and 80 percent VG with nicotine at 6.

At that price, I'm going to dispose of the current cinnamon flavoring that I have left.

I'll order the FA, give it a go and post the results.
Thanks again,
Erniekim

Ernie, you might try distilled water (DW) instead of PG if you wish to avoid it. I can't say how well it will work with that specific flavoring, but DW makes a fine substitute in all of my mixes, and many others have found the same. Percentages of 10-20% usually do the job. Most often it is used to thin VG for wicking purposes, but it might also allow a more complete blending of the flavoring.

You likely won't need 6%. Start out at 1-2%. Good luck.

Mr Mann,
I received my Flavorart Cinnamon Ceylon and Loran non-oil raspberry. I did a fifty-fifty VG PG with Cinnamon at 2%, raspberry at 4% and no sweetener since the raw Cinnamon tasted sweeter than the one I was using; just seems less is always better. It came out wonderful. Thanks for your help.
My other flavor is Volcano's menthol cigarette. I guess simply because It's kind of "opposite" of the other one. I like it in the morning and evening mostly. Do you have any favorites in the menthol family?
Thanks for all of your help.

No problemo. Thanks for checking back. No menthol for me, though I have been curious about mints.

Howdy,

New DIY'er here, really new, ok I'm hiding my towel after trying to dry off my ears.
But, I asked for DIY stuff from a friend who did it all the time, a box shows up with assortment of goods and a hot plate/magnetic stirrer mixer. I've been using it at 50 celsius as he recommended to stir/mix my liquids. It works well and most of the time little supervision needed once the magnetic blade gets going, it would seem most mixtures are uniform as well.

I've only done "1 and done" mixtures thus far so can't say how well it would work with multiple flavoring juices, I've had good success with just a single flavor.

I do have a question though, PM or reply will work.
What Flavors would work well as stand alone mixers, I've found a few but always open to try pretty much anything. In love with banana nut bread and Banana's Foster.
Thanks for your advice as its always appreciated.

Sincerely,
Midnight

Midnight,
I waited to respond to you until I got a shipment of new flavors and I'm glad I did. Mr. Mann keeps talking about Mint flavors so I got some. Mt Baker Vapors has a new one called White Out. You'll need to move quickly as they don't have much of it left. Read about it on their site, it's great.
