Hey guys,
So I've been busy tinkering with my Rocket since I got it a few days ago, and think I've FINALLY managed a successful build. At first I had a problem with juice leaking from the air holes on the side (like, really bad. I lost a LOT of my juice!), but I pushed the wicks down to the juice channels a little more and pulled the coil up and away ever so slightly from the air channel in the chamber, and it seems to have stopped (touch wood).
I just have a question. The air holes are adjustable on this thing, as you can twist the air control ring to cover them both, just one, or leave them both open. This part looks completely different to a real Kayfun, and was wondering what functional difference this makes.
Also, are these holes the other end of the air duct, as in, the other end being the air tube that the coil sits above inside the chamber? If so, would the leaking I experienced be because juice was somehow getting down that air tube inside the chamber? Also, what difference does this ring make in regards to the Rocket vs a Kayfun?
I know these are noob questions, but I am very new to rebuilding as you can tell! I've included a few images of the air holes for reference (these two holes are where I was getting serious juice leakage).
Thanks guys!
