Thanks for including me in one of those categories :)
But, there are some different points of view about low volts, high volts, vari-volts, circuit designs, mod shapes-big or small. All have there place, but for the masses, there is no ultimate mod. Each vaper should find his own comfort zone.

The big trick?

Is to know when you are there.

Thanks again.

I forgot to ask. Who be paying for this retreat?

How about a Co-op for this? :D

Great Idea:
we could call it the

Modders Cruise Co-op :)

(sounds better than: Send Rocket to Camp Co-op)

Here's the deal with the Cheap meter. I have a nice meter (cost 125 for annual calibration) and have made all kinds of adapters and testers and lie detectors but usually can't find them when I need them. This Carto-meter is so ridiculous than even the wife remembers where she puts it when she cleans up after me. The Garage isn't air conditioned or the shop I built, so I do a lot of experimenting in the KLS (Kitchen/Lab/Shop). Whether free, $2, or $4, it is handy, and if you can figure out how to solder and build a mod in the first place you can duplicate this one. If you are building mods, or even using mods, you need a meter. So many questions in this forum wouldn't even have been asked if the member had a device like this.

Hey Rocket, did you know there are 2 kinds of that meter? One has the board like yours(narrowed at the top), one has a board with a wide top.
They are both the cheapo HF 7 function MM, I've got both.

I did some checking. The one you used is the model #90899, the other is model #98025.

BTW, mine works like a charm. :)
