Rockstar vapor juice with 510 model

Hello all. I'm still using the generic 510 model ecig that I bought at a local mall, and it's worked well enough I guess since I haven't had an analog in 4 months. I bought 5 15ml bottles of juice from rockstar vapor recently for a great price, and although they were highly recommended, this juice doesnt work well at all with my 510 model. Hardly any vapor at all. Is it my equipment? I'm looking to upgrade my pv anyways, so does anyone have any experience with rockstar vapor and a reasonably priced pv that works well with it? Thanx in advance!

100% PG juices let through the most flavor, nicotine hit and nicotine irritation and make weak vapor
Get juices with a bit of VG in their ratio and you will get more vapor

Atomizer + cart can also cause problems - have you been cleaning your atomizers? Most people switch to cartomizers for their favorite juices (Boge are most popular and slim 510 uses the 3 ohm ones and should not use the hotter LR low resistance atomizers or cartomizers - those are for fat battery models)

And some juices just suck so you try a lot of juices.

I've made my way through about 90ml of RSV to date, about 80ml of which has been their menthol flavor I've touted on many threads. The vapor production is reduced compared to other vendors, regardless of the PG/VG ratio. When I compare RSV's Menthol to VaporCastStore's Pro-Thol, the Pro-Thol creates almost twice the vapor. However, if you like the RSV flavor and don't mind reduced vapor, there's no other issues with some of their flavors, as far as I'm concerned. They have the best ice glacier menthol on the market, but when I want a more complex flavor, with much more vapor, I head for the Pro-Thol.

As for their flavors... their green apple is good, cotton candy is good, hot cinnamon played havoc with my heart, and their Cola was too flowery for me. But their menthol... Mmmm. :D

It is also worth noting... I've experienced on several occasions virtually NO vapor, but after about 30 puffs, the vapor seems to increase to more normal levels. On another occasion I got virtually no vapor out of it after prolonged use in a Resurrector cartomizer. I think either the carto was defective, or I flooded the heck out of it as a newbie to carto's. :D lolz All is good now though.

Thanks for the replies! When ordered, I mixed it up and went with a variety of blends from 100% pg to 80/20 all the way to 50/50 and they all seem to react the same way: no vapor at all. Also, their menthols don't seem mentholly at all to me... They have a distinct sweet smell, and it seems like they are going for that sought-after cigarette smell, but all in all, it's way off for me. Best menthol I've found is the menthol blast from volcano ecigs, but the price doesn't touch the rockstar stuff, but the volcano juice does the trick so ima stick with them until I find something better. One time a couple months ago I lit up a Marlborough menthol light again just to compare taste, and the menthol was overwhelming. So far it seems to me that ecigs just haven't figured out the menthol aspect. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Well, I'll jump in with my 2 cents wort and 80ml of RSV - usually at 50/50 PG/VG.

I found that with an Ego, flavor was a bit on the low side but vapor was good. However, once I changed up to an E-Power 14650 then the flavor began to show itself a little better.

Right now, I am waiting on a VV box mod so I can see how RSV handles higher voltages. I think I'll also be putting in another RSV order but drop the VG ratio to 30%.
