how about a contest with a time frame? something like how many xxxx in this xxxx.
an hour to answer and closest wins. that way people who can't be at their computer at the exact time have a chance. please? pretty please?

I'll go for that but no "how many jelly beans in the jar" contests.

Or maybe if someone orders $??.?? by ??/??/2009, there name goes in a drawing. Maybe even having to correctly answer a trivia question at checkout?

Usually sweepstakes like that are illegal because they discriminate against people based on wealth. This is at least part of the reason why most contest rules start with "No purchase necessary" in big bold letters.

I doubt anyone would have a problem either way, but I wouldn't want to see you get in trouble for something silly like that.:)

I'm claiming discrimination based on geographical location!!!!

In all seriousness though, Dave doesn't need to be giving anything away. His service is topnotch and prices are more than competitive. I don't need gimmicks and games to continue shopping with him. He's got my business whether I get freebies or not.
