Romuluz Spark RBA

I am getting extremely frustrated at this point. I have built countless RSSTs and Steamboy attys successfully but the one that comes stock on the Romuluz Spark is driving me crazy. It's like, no matter how I wrap it and what I wrap it with, I get that top coil hotspot.

Has anybody ever rebuilt one of these attys? It looks simple enough, just like any other genesis atty but I just can't seem to figure out why that one hotspot will not go away.

Any tips/suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe try putting a washer on the + post, similar to the one on the RSST... I have seen it done on a few of the AGA series atty's to help with hot spots.
