hey all, i'll start by saying I like a root beer vape once in a while and, have only had one that I liked, most the taste way off... so since i'm making my own juice now I thought I would get some RB flavoring and give it a go!

I mixed up a small batch @ 15% using Flavor West Root Beer Float. mind you it's only steeped over night but, I must say its not bad! definitely tastes like root beer, a better description would be to say it tastes just like a root beer candy....

I almost ordered TFA root beer float flavoring but, read a couple reviews that said the taste was off? anyone compared both? kinda hoping to get some feedback before I order any ;)

I love root beer, tried TFA, and it is quite a bit off, the temperature would be the biggest obstacle. The warmth of the vape doesn't seem like it will ever translate well from a ice cold frosty mug....:)

if you can, get hold of some flavor west maybe. I can't quit vaping this stuff! and it's less than a day old. can't wait to add some icecream or vanillan to it. but, even by itself its great! can't taste the "float" aspect but that's where other flavorings will come in I guess. however, I think i'll still try the TFA flavoring at some point but i'll get the smallest bottle I can :)

Wonder if a little koolata would help that. Or if your talking about warmth from a top coil I wonder if vaping from a bottom coil would help. Just some random off the top of my head thoughts never having tried root beer.

whats that koolata all about? I see it mentioned a lot but have NO idea what the hell it is...

Koolata is a cooling additive that gives the sensation of coldness much like menthol does but without the menthol or minty flavor. Just a sensation of coldness. Great in ice cream and drink mixes

I've tried koolata and menthol to no avail, even in cooling down some fruit flavors. I much prefer top coils and I've regulated myself to the flavors that taste better warm. The coffee, tobacco, bourbon, brandy, cinnamon, maple, etc work well and a mint - menthol blend for a cool taste with a warm vapor.

I need to find a US vendor that sells Capella and doesn't charge a fortune for shipping!
ecigexpress is pretty awesome. you can get a 120ml bottle for 12.79 and ships for less than 4 bucks... just put it for fun i can get it shipped to my house for 16.47 total. direct from capellas is 19.95 before shipping. you just cant beat it. they also have the smaller sizes so you could grab a few things for under 20 bucks Root Beer Float by Capella Flavor Drops - ecigExpress
