I usually use cotton in most of my builds but I like silica in my Rose atomizer. Just wondering how you decide its time to rebuild? Mine has been in daily use for about a month and still seems fine - taste is Ok, maybe a little slower to heat up. It also is still wicking well. It's just that it looks disgusting with a fairly thick layer of black crud on the coil. I've tried dry burning without any real change in appearance. I was going to take the coil / wick out and torch it, but it just seems like I might as well rebuild it if I have it apart anyway. Any thoughts? Maybe just leave it alone until it tastes funky or the coil burns out? Thanks
