I'm pretty sure the nhaler batteries are just custom branded China made batteries. I don't think you can get non Chinese manufactured ones at this point. As mentioned its a new and still pretty uncommon size.

of course they are - I'd guess the MV 18350 protected are too- try and find the factory specs for an ultrafire 18350 protected cell ... but you know they aren't factory seconds, you know they are what they say they are (not counterfit) and you don't have to buy in quantity or wait 3 weeks for them. If you are smart enough to demand protected or safe batteries, why in the world would you risk buying from anyone that wasn't a reputable source? to save $2 or $3 each over 250 cycles (half the advertised expected life of most of the batteries)? I'm sure we'll see more of them domestically in the future as demand increases ...

I was pretty much responding to this bit
but it was one with a similar look - it seem most sites were importing from China though.
when I pointed out the nhaler ones are imported from China and as you've pointed out, most likely all of them are from there.

I do have another question. I have 6 protected 18350 from Eastmall from 3 Indulgence mod kits, each of which came with 2. These are so long they don't fit into the roughstack I just received today. If I remove the spring I can just screw the RS closed but the bottom of the battery doesn't make contact with the shell that way. Not to mention that I want the spring in there. I was just fitting for size. I'd guess these things are at least 5mm too long (probably closer to 10mm to allow the spring to have some compression left). But when I measure they are only 11m longer than the TrustFire 16340 new style 800mah (with the flame wrapper) which are what I use in my MVS. So exactly how long are the 18350 that are packaged with the RS?

16340/CR2 battery will work in these also but a little lower mah.

what about the size difference Protected 16340/CR123 Lithium Ion Battery, 880mAH, 3.7 volts.
16mm across, 36mm tall. Protected Protected 18350 Lithium Ion Battery, 1200mAH, 3.7 volts.

18mm across, 37mm tall. how well do the 16340's fit in the roughstack being 2mm smaller?

I just measured 1/2 a dozen of the Ultrafire 1200mAh 18350's (from MadVapes) with a caliper - they ranged from 37.3mm to 38.1mm ..

Are they possibly 18500's and not 18350's?

Yes, 16340's will fit in the roughstack tube but until screwed together, they'll be a little wobbly in there.
