I was hoping to have some questions answered about the two pv's. Does the RoughStack V2 allow you to change the battery configuration as the Maxi? Can someone tell me some pro's and cons of the two unit? Will a 2.0 carto be ok to run? thanks
The roughstack can use 18350,16340 batteries with the short body or 2 3v batteries for 6v or the 18650 for 3.7v with the long body.
pros-simple,inexspensive,not scared your gonna beat it up,very small with the short body
cons-button placement and type, must use a extension if you plan to use a tank
2.0 carto's are no problem with the roughstack,it should run anything 510 you wanna put on it

Yes with a 18350 or 16340 battery, the 18350 will give you a longer run time in between charges. You can run 3.7 with the Maxi also with a 18650 which will give the longest run time in between charges at the expense of of a longer tube.

I haven't bought one BUT, I have been seriously researching these units...the short batts will still havvta be changed out a time or two for a heavy vaper in a days use, the 18650s for the long body can be had in 2400mah and larger which for me would be a once a day swap and goto the next before a change out will be needed...plus with the Maxi, if you wanted to you can stack two short 3.7s or two 3.0s for higher voltage vaping...just be sure with the higher voltage to get the appropriate atty/cartos as the LRs will burn up the switch and possible damage the batts...whether you get the long or short body, you can add the other for around 20 bux and have both for maximum flexibility..............

p.s. the short body will accept the 3.7 volt 18350 or 16340 battery...to run the 18650s or to stack batts you will need the tall body.....mj
p.s.s. the V2 and the MaxiV2 use the same switch/top cap with different bodies...if you buy one setup, you buy just the body with out the switch cap to swap out...........mj
The Maxi Roughstack and the Roughstack are the same mod, they have the same top assembly, switch and connector. The only difference is the Maxi has a longer tube to hold a longer battery which will give you longer run time in between charges or you can stack shorter batteries in the Maxi for a Higher Voltage Vape.
If you want both you can get the regular version which comes with the shorter tube and purchase the longer tube separate, then you'll have a very short mod when you need it or can use the longer body when you want longer run times or to stack batteries for HV.
For 3.7v you can run a 16340 or 18350 in the in the regular Roughstack or a 18650 in the Maxi.
I like RS switch position. I can fire switch w/ any of my 10 fingers. The switch does not fire in my pocket. If carto diameter is large an extension is needed due to interference w/ switch.
