Hi all,

I have been lurking on these forums for a while, and informing myself with the resources here, but this is the first time I've posted.

I just got my second pv (roughstack v2 from madvapes), and I can already tell it's far better than what I had before. Using cartomizers this time (royal smoker e2 r4 2.4-2.6 ohms), and that's working better too.

I just wanted to see if there might be any other set-ups worth trying. I've heard that 2.0 ohm cartomizers work well with 3.7v batteries, but I'm not sure if folks here might have specific recommendations.

Thanks!

I have a maxi also and in my opinion you just can't get a more durable, versatile or dependable mod for the price. 3.7..5..6 or 7.4 volts with one mod..heck, it's nearly VV (give or take). I pretty much exclusively use dual coils with it and can vape all voltages with the same carto although I have settled in with the 5 volt (4.8) nimh batts.

I too thought I might need a new mod. Something a little sexier. After a long search I decide that I am going to pick up another Maxi with the black stardust/sparkle or purple finish. That's all the sexy I need.

I have tried it, but only with my old joye 510....had an XL passthrough battery, and it worked okay, but not anywhere near as good as I'm getting w/ carts (2.6-2.8 ohm CE2 clearomizers) right now on my 3.7v (18350 batt) roughstack.

Think the portability of the carts suits my lifestyle a bit better....might give dripping another try though. Thanks!

Agree. I'm a fan of the roughstack aesthetic....very utilitarian and non-flashy. I don't like to attract a lot of attention.

My only concern was that it looks like a pipe bomb, and I have to walk through a metal detector every day when I go to work. However, I've found that it's not really a problem as long as I disassemble it and put the pieces in my bag.....doesn't look quite as sketchy under the metal detector. I just flew on an airplane with it this week, and no issues w/ airport security either.

Think my next purchase is going to include the maxi extension. Any batt charger recommendations?
