I almost wanted one, but then this morning when it was -35 and I was outside vaping (I work in a federal building so we're banished out with the smokers) my bottom lip got stuck to my metal drip tip. I'm starting to think I may stock up on these cheap delrin ones instead. Routers look awesome but I think it would be silly for me to have a seasonal drip tip.

USPS out of LA is the worst for tracking. I get packages sent internationally and it's paaaaainful. Odins can take 2 weeks to hit my country with no updates at all. Just be mindful that Craig has no control over this.

My LokiLab order took more than 2 month to hit Hamburg Harbour and another 3 days thru customs, before it finally arrived here.
After LA departure, USPS provided no further tracking Information, even weeks after delivery it said "Departed USPS Facility LA 90009".
Till now, I assumed the problem to be Craig's parcel tariff, that is different from everybody else's.
Maybe you are right and the reason is the USPS LA organisation, which would let Craig completely off the hook.
Anyhow, I haven't placed any more LokiLab orders, even though I'd like to get some more stuff.
I'm just not willing to wait a quarter of a year for delivery. Unfortunately...

Good point Capt.

Anyone seen any movement on the routers they bought Monday? Mine still just shows "a shipping label has been created" but not actual acceptance by usps...

Same here CC but he did say that the USPS in LA is snail paced

I haven't bought anything from LL for way over a year, but they were always slow to actually ship back then... 3-6 days after I got my "shipped' notification from them before the package was actually in the hands of USPS. So I just assumed they only ship once a week.

As for this order I'm still waiting for tracking to show some movement, same as both of you...

Same here as well. Waiting on 2 odins and 2 .45 drip tips (should have got routers, didn't know how much everyone loved them.) The USPS is a fine example on how the government works. If I was Craig I would consider offering UPS and Fedex as well as USPS. I know I would pay for the shipping if it meant getting to me that much faster. I know that the damn USPS could be costing him business because in this day and age, people want their products they bought today, yesterday. I didn't know that California's USPS was like that. I just assumed when you took an order it placed labels for that order and was just waiting for the package to be delivered by Craig. and that he was just putting the finishing touches on everything or something.

Mine now shows movement

Ordered on the 5th
Label Created on the 6th
first scan at the post office on the 8th

Mine just came up the same. The USPS didn't get it until 7:36 PM last night (according to the tracking).

Can't blame the USPS when the seller doesn't turn it over to them when they say they have. I don't know Craig, but this has been the norm every time I've bought from him.

CA USPS is not that bad. I order from a few other companies in CA and one in LA. The only packages that take forever are from Loki Labs, I gave him two chances.
He just does not drop stuff off quickly.

Agree, but to give him the benefit of doubt I just assumed he only ships once a week.

I have found it problematic for vendors that routinely print their labels prior to taking them to the P.O. vs. doing everything on site. My orders from Craig were the same except for one order that was 2day priority. It always took 7-10 business days to get something from him. Unacceptable in todays times. Everything should be 2day priority at the vendors expense. I personally think he prints all the labels at one time, packs up the boxes, then takes them down to the P.O., (but drops them in the mail bin outside after hours), which usually takes a couple days for him. He should get them there during business hours and hand them to a real live person on the spot. It is very convenient for him to put "his" shipping problems off on USPS... I have dealt with a couple vendors from multiple locations in the US that do this, I just don't deal with them anymore...

U guys should live where I do and u wouldn't get excited when stuff takes a while. Overnight shipping takes 2 days. Priority takes right at a week. Heck if if mail myself something from my own post office it might take 3 days. anyone who wants fast shipping shouldn't be using the USPS. There are brown and purple trucks running around that do things much better. My 2c.

I use seasonal drip tips, but it really doesn't bother me, as I like the novelty. I use various cheapo metal tips (but will be using the Router when it gets around to arriving) in warm weather/on my indoor mods, a RSM when it's a little colder or when I want to dress my Reo up all fancy (copper vein door/black wrinkle Mini 2.1 with a brass RM2 and a brass/pyrex RSM tip is my go to 'fancy' setup for weddings and such. Classy as all hell), and one of these two: $2.02 Stainless Steel + POM 510 Drip Tip - thread-connected at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping or $2.09 Stainless Steel + PMMA 510 Drip Tip - 22mm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping when it gets really cold. Most drip tips are so cheap that I don't see any reason not to have a few and switch them up when I or the weather feel like it.
