RDA Royal hunter vs fishbone

I have the royal hunter. I grew to prefer it over my Mutation X V4's once I went over to Temp Control. In the interest of full disclosure, I'm enjoying my doge V2S these days more than either of the other two. The RH has great flavor, but the doge can match it and give better airflow at the same time.
Ive never heard of a doge matching anything flavor wise. I own a Holy Grail (literally same thing as a v1 doge) & Doge v2. The flavor is muted on them, even with airflow at half.
The fishbone is pretty much a Competition Kennedy rip with an all Pyrex top cap. I'd be weary of dropping it. Go for the Royal Hunter. It's a great atty, centerpost block for easier building - 4 post holes instead of 3 - and you can even get a RH mini as well.
The second top cap that comes with the V2S changes up the airflow within the chamber on the Doge V2 atty, it behaves a lot differently and flavor really pops with that one while still giving you good clouds. With the standard V2 cap, you're 100% correct... flavor sucks, but great clouds.

I'll look into them tomorrow another o e the shop carries is the cloud chaser inc stuff but have 0 experience with them. They do look pretty nice though. As for the fishbone glass may be a bad idea for me as well
I gave up on the doge with the v2. I like to build advanced coils and actually use them, but the side wall tolerances were just too thick. Is the chimney section thinned out as well as the topcap?
Yup. That's one of the features they changed with the alternate top cap and the reason they thinned it was specifically to give more build room. It's plain, just flat topped, takes a wide bore drip tip, and comes only in black.
I know. I saw the v2s promo video when it was still up for pre-sale. My only question is how thin is the sidewall (without top cap) compared to the v2?
It's posted on the initial Congrevape listing for the V2S, .4mm on the S versus 1.5mm on the standard V2.
Just caught the chimney bit of your question... there really isn't one, the base of the top cap sits pretty much flush inside and out, and the black ring is solid. Where it terminates inside is also the base of the drip tip. Only thing you could truly call a chimney on this one is the drip tip itself, especially when compared with the standard top cap.
As a alternative to the fishbone---I have this thing called the deadmodz and there was also a fishbone sitting beside it at a local vape shop but I decided to get this thing.
It came with 3 led lites to install one at a time into the post holes and lites up when you fire---just a gimmick--but fun none the less.......
It is a great cloud maker--great 4 lung hits.....

Nice my shop was considering getting those on too. I ended up getting the royal hunter and paired it with some cci night shade juice which is an apple crumble with cinnamon finish
