Royal Mail 1st class delivery does not feel like 1st class

Hi all,

Ordered my first proper e cig on sunday night from vapeescape was a good deal and a good set the riva 1100 mAW battery deluxe kit Very excited to begin vaping with them.. only one issue they still havent turned up! Got an email from vapescape saying they dispatched it on monday but did not turn up yesterday and the postman has just been and gone and no package Was wondering if anyone else had issues recently with royal mail 1st class delivery service?

I ordered some more things today which should get dispatched today from vapeescape I just hope the batterys turn up before the other stuff.... Hopefully tomorrow things will be looking better!

Really sorry to hear your kit hasn't turned up Craig Every time that I've ordered from vape Escape (before 3pm on a week day) I've always got my goods the next morning - all the way down here in Cornwall.

thanks Just unsure why it hasent turned up yet just my luck aye wanna get off the analogs and I'm still being made to smoke them haha maybe both orders will turn up tomorrow! Wont be nice if my order of liquid and atomizers turn up tomorrow and not the kit order ! haha Royal mail were useless too called them and explained and all they said were we try to get 1st class orders there 93% of the time for the next day and its like its been 2 days.... ah well!

Hello Craig, as Chrissie said, Vapeescape are on the ball, I use them for all my orders and the majority of the time, next day. The problem will more than likely be with Royal Mail as sometimes they back up the mail as they have done to me in the past, they are getting ready for privatisation, and I know what that means, half the service for twice the price!

Royal snail mail mate... I've sent out many packages over the years with 1st class and its taken a week to get there... dont stress it will be hear soon.. if not get some tracking info ( if you have it ) and chase it up

I'm fairly sure that 90% of the charge from Royal Mail is for storage. A couple of months ago I ordered some new tanks and was in a hurry to get them, so I opted for the next day service. IT TOOK 3 DAYS FOR THEM TO DELIVER IT!!!!
Fortunately for me I've found an ecig shop only 15 minutes away from me so I don't have to have them delay/steal my post anymore.

Sorry to hear of your delay, hopefully it will be with you tomorrow.

My orders from Vapeescape usually arrive next working day, but one order did take a few days to get here, (snail mails fault as it was dispatched on time) it does happen occasionally but most of my orders have arrived when expected.

Yeah I'm hoping both my orders arrive today that would be sweet but sort of not banking on it anymore and just thought meh it will get here when it gets here! I just want to start vaping and give up these analog stinkies! I'll find out when I get home from work! you guys know if the riva batterys need to be charged for 8 hours when brand new for first charge?

The batteries come with a factory charge & have no memory, so no need for an 8 hour charge. You can use one straight away while fully charging the other

Great! thanks will check out the guide! Any chance you know how long they usually take to charge? Just wanna time it right when I get them dont want to go to sleep while its still charging and risk over charging or pull out before fully charged when going to sleep as I dont want to mess up the batterys

Assuming you're using a wall charger, the 1100mAh batteries should take around 3-4 hours to charge.

awesome not too bad for a 1100 mAW battery then sounds about the same charge time as my little 180 mAW cigalike one haha! Is there that much of a difference charging on the laptop instead of wall charge?

apparently both my parcels have turned up! Woo couple more analogs to go and ill be smoke free

Haha! Yeah - the cigalike chargers have a much lower output due to the lower capacity of the batteries.

A lot of USB ports on laptops aren't really up to the demands of charging higher capacity batteries (like the Riva), and will generally take much longer to complete a charge. Worst case scenario - you could fry your USB port.

haha its so worth it! Just tried my first!! I have one atomizer so didnt want to drip try the diff sample flavours I got so went with my gut and filled the clearomizer with apple and my god its so nice!!

also charged one of them for about 10 mins and the light turned a solid green so must of been pretty much fully charged on that one and the other one is flashing green so that will be done soon haha
