Okay, so I have an RSST and when I wick with cotton the top of the coil burns up. What I'm I doing wrong?

so if you wick without cotton it doesn't? so is the wick burning or the coil? any pics?

Some pics would be great and more info about what build you're trying to do.

W/cotton, you need to saturate the wick with juice first before firing it up. Also, you may be packing your cotton in too tightly. Cotton wicks should be snug but easily movable at the same time. If you're compressing it in there, that's a problem.

What drill bit size do you guys use on the RSST to make Microcoils? I"m not sure about the Wick hole size, and was wondering if a 3/64 drill bit would work?

I'm using 1/16 on mine right now but that's with dual coils.
