hey guys whats up. new to genny style tanks so bare with me. im planning on purchasing an RSST soon and wondering what size stainless still wire will best fit with least chance of leaking. would it be 3/32? 1/8? just wondering about that wick hole it has in there. also i found of ebay. stainless steel wire called 304 stainless steel rope. 7 strand or something like that. would it work fine? its not sold by a vape user more of a construction worker so i just wanna double check with you guys that it'd be fine. all the help is welcome thanks!

There is a sub-forum for rebuildables. Good resource. Personally, I use cotton as my wick and am loving it. Cheap, easy and no 'prep'. Just my two cents. Good luck and have fun!
So you are going to use SS rope? I've not yet tried it myself, though I did talk to a very knowledgeable guy at a local B&M who told me his results with it were less than stellar, and he went back to SS mesh wicks. I've found that they serve me very well, and I've not been tempted to go the rope route. On my RSST I use a piece of 400 mesh 3 in. x 1 3/8ths in. to roll up my wick and it works very well after its' been oxidized and the end folded over on the outside. Check out the PBusardo videos on this on YouTube. I've never had a problem with leaking on my rba's.
