Rsst vs hybrid

Hopefully i am posting this in the correct section (mods feel free to move this if i am not). I want to get into the world of rebuildables as I am getting bored with my pro tank and clearos. After doing a quite amount of research I thought I wanted to get a fairly inexpensive mechanical mod and a rsst to put on top. But now I'm leaning towards getting some type of hybrid however I am somewhat overwhelmed with all the choices out there. Can I get some opinions and or suggestions on which route I should go and also possibly some recommendations on a hybrid. Id like to keep it around $100 or less. Thanks in advance.

You want to start in on rebuildables.... and keep it inexpensive?

Get a mech like a K100... and an IGO-l RDA (or a IGO-W if you want to give dual coils a poke).... Throw a microcoil in that thing and you'll probably not touch your Protank again. (Take it from me.... haven't touched my evods since I got my IGO)

The IGOs are REALLY easy to build, built really solid and put out an great vape. And they are really inexpensive... you can get them for $18 domestic and $8 from overseas.

A mech like a K100 with an RSST and / or a IGO would keep you under $100 (assuming you have batteries and chargers). Try it out and see if you want to go that direction, if not the K100 can be used witj ProTanks and clearos....

Even with a couple of good batteries and a charger, you could probably stay under $100 with the K100/IGO combo.

Thanks for the replies. I guess for now I will stay out of the world of hybrids until I find a style of atomizer that I like.

Just ordered a k100 kit with cartomizers, 2 batterys, charger and carto cover. Also got an rsst to go along with it all for $72 shipped. Thanks for your help guys.

OH! Did you pick up some wire? Heh.... forgot to mention that. Mostly for that RSST.... wire (I'd suggest 28g Kanthal), some SS mesh (#400 is a good starting point) as the RSST might only come with 1 or two sheets.

I have plenty of 32 30 and 28 gauge laying around as well as some mesh, ss cable and some silica sleeving if I can't get the setup working with mesh to wire contact.

If you find your hybrid curiosity still around after you break in the new toys... ft has the ihybrid (clone)for $38...

I think I was looking at that one on ft. I didn't like the fact that it couldn't take an 18650.

yea, the one problem with a hybrid is if you dont like the way the topper vapes the whole mod is useless. I have one but I went through a lot of other gear before I was willing to chance it so even if i want to try to get rid of it im still vaping something i already like.
