First off, thanks to VamoMan for taking the trouble to source me an RSST Cape Town side at such a good price and for his troubles getting it to me. I hear he's done the same for a few of us.

I must say, my first efforts at setting this thing up are a bit dissapointing..
Comparing it to my Aga T2, it definitely comes off second best in the vapour production department. In fact, even comparing to a few much cheaper rba's it still doesn't cut it.

The air hole is MUCH too small on this thing stock. I drilled out to 1.2mm and it's definitely better, reckon it could go a bit bigger, but my next drill size is 1.5 and that may be too big.

I set it up with 4 wraps 30g 1.6ohms (same as my agat2). No hotspots, even glow - it's just not putting out the same amount of vapour. It seems like it's not drawing enough current for some reason. Even if I put it on a mech with a fully charged IMR, it still seems underpowered. I run the AgaT2 at 7.5w on a Vamo and it blows clouds.

Another thing to watch out for, especially if you're a Vamo owner. The positive pin is quite sharp at the contact end. Be careful not to have it protruding too much from the bottom. You'll ruin your Vamo connector quickly. I don't over tighten my stuff, but I can see my positive Vamo pin is already taking a hit. It seems a bit wobbly on the top, so it's all too easy to over tighten. If you've got a beauty ring from a Protank, stick that over the Ego threading. Works like a charm. Takes out the gap and makes the set up rock solid.

I'll persevere and report back.

Big up to vamoman for also helping me out with an RSST and just being an all-round nice guy.

My experience with the RSST has been similar to yours, Sarje. I also have an AGA T2 and in comparison it feels as if I should somehow push the button on my mod harder as it just doesn't have the same hit as the AGA. I recently saw a thread on reddit about the RSST, apparently the stock centre post on the RSST causes a crazy voltage drop. You can get a replacement post for it though, I think it's silver or brass. Personally, I don't mind the voltage drop so much, but if I didn't have a backup rba (or two, thanks Sarje ;) ) I'd be kinda miffed about it.

All in all, still a pretty sweet little RBA. Maybe we should source some silver centre posts and get some for everyone?

the nimbus 2 is this one;

I think the V5 will look better because its a 20mm base instead of the 16mm base but I read that it only has one airhole and people were messing them up while trying to drill another airhole without the guide hole being there. Not sure if the drill just slips or the stainless bending or what exactly the issue was though

On that mini Did clone, just take the cap off and SLOWLY sand it down. Place it on a peice of sandpaper on a flat surface and move it round in circles. Keep checking back to fit and eventually you'll get it lined up just right. Also, make sure you clean the threads after sanding.

Yes mini did my airhole does not align with the coil. Which one is the v2 the guys advised me to go for v5 the nimbus clone

Drilling the other hole is too easy. It's 1mm - just drill straight through the existing one with a 1mm drill bit and you'll make one in exactly the same place on the other side. That is right where you want it so both holes line up with the coils. I did mine in 5 mins.

My V5 Chimbus rocking 2 x 4 wrap 30awg with cotton ball wick. 0.6 ohms. This thing is insane. Vamoman - your cloud blowing nirvana is coming bud!

P.S, sorry for all the consecutive posts!
