I have the Goblin V2. If you coil, wick, and screw it correctly it will not leak.

Mine has never had a leak.

As for the screw, I always snug it tightly. It's a small screw with a large plus in the head, indicating you can use a large screwdriver to get additional torque, thus snugging it tightly. There is a limit, of course.

But IDK about other RTAs.

Still though, I feel like juice could still get into your mod. You fill it, put the screw back in place, wipe it off but there could still be some juice hiding in the threads. Then, you screw it onto your mod, juice gets into your 510 connection which could eventually make your spring loaded 510 stick. This happened to a friend of mine. His tank was leaking from the airflow holes, his spring loaded pin got stuck down and he had to wait a month to get a replacement.

I use the Big Buddha mini with a bottom screw fill hole. The screw has a tiny O ring on it to seal the hole. Filling is sometimes messy (mainly my own sloppy fault) but I also always wipe off the base and 510 threads; sometimes juice still seeps onto the top of my mod however. Just wipe that and the mod threads out periodically as well.
