True story @Eskie

I'm a flavour chaser and a restricted mtl kind of guy. I sometimes like dtl but mostly mtl. I don't mind fiddly atties (build wise) and look for a good throat hit (no innuendos!!) for an attie to be really enjoyable.

For me, I have enjoyed several rta's but mostly the:
Heron v2 which is excellent (once you've mastered the wicking). On the paps v4 it is slick as well and convenient to carry around.1.1ohm and the 30Q lasts me all day.
A big mention to the Calix v2, I have both the v1 & v2 and both really impress. For flexibilty of builds, this is most impressive and the flavour is delightful.
RDA wise, i use the Snap Dragon which again, is just amazing. Mostly used at home when i make a new flavours but it is on point all the time. Easy to build, low maintenance and just so damm good.

I have several other atties but these are my favourite and would recommend.

Hope you find what you are looking for bud.

Ash

I wanted to reach out and see if anyone had ideas on RTA's and RDA's that would be worth a try. If anyone has any ideas drop me a comment or a link to check it out.
a real hobbyist would have both in his collection. RTAs for your ADV and a RDA for trying new flavors or a change of pace from your ADV :):):)

Wow,, I've been a magma devote for 2 years. The reborn not so much. Also like genies for years. Best of both worlds?
I hope it is pre Aug 08.
Thank you so much..

Well, latest from Paradigm Modz is the Octarine RDA, which seems to be quite a hit

To get back to my style. Id say Im more of a DL kinda person. Im not a beginner and feel a mouth to lung hit is just a harsher and coughing way to smoke. I haven't came across the Magma yet. But i am glad to see they finally have a new style out. I may have to check it out.

As for the rest that have been mentioned I'll check those out also. But when It comes to the best airflow wise RDA Id have to give it to the Kennedy line. They have never let me down with the intense 4 chimneys and bottom air intake. It makes the mod a bit nasty but I feel if you pay attention then you can keep it clean.

Thanks to all that have posted up ideas for me. But I wanna get into the more optional Tanks/RDA. Such as one's with juice control, good airflow, good flavor production. I really like innovative ideas when it comes to builds. I did see a review with a new tank not on the market yet that was a double chamber tank that was capable of being a one piece, two piece, dripper or tank. Each flavor was its own or they could both be tasted together. It was great seeing something that many of us might have thought about but have never seen. Id really like tank info on things like that. i love seeing new ideas and things that come to peoples mind.

If you're a DL'er, i think the Griffin 25 is very worthwhile. Impeccable build quality, big on vapor and flavor, leak- and hassle free. Lots of good RTA's out now, also mentioned in this thread.
If you like Kennedy style airflow, check out the Tsunami 24. Velocity style build deck, and comes with a squonk-510 pin. Highly recommended!

@AshF83 Whats your vaping style?

I don't know what you mean by what my style is? On my in the house days or travel I take a cartamized tank with me. But if Im out and about able to mess around I'll take a dripper with me.
Hi @LuckyVape,

As mentioned, I'm a mtl vaper so enjoy the moderate builds of 1.1ohm (give or take). The restricted draw is what I enjoy and with 9mg at 60/40, I am a happy man.

Certain tanks bring out the best in a flavour and for the juices I vape on, Heron v2 and the Calix v2 are just sublime. If you like an airier draw then Calix v2 will certainly give you options. It's not cheap but worth every penny. You can change from an open draw (not wide open) to an excellent mtl draw and the flavour...

Hope this is useful buddy.

The Calix v2 has the airflow coming from the base. If you purchase the drip tip (Air i think they call it), it has more airflow if needs be. Tbh, i have the air drip tip and always have it closed. Even with the airflow on the base wide open, it is very airy, defo dtl.

I have the airflow virtually closed off and it's amazing for me. They've tried to suit all vapers and have nailed it imho.

For me, even when i open up the airflow, the flavour is still on point.

But it's the options that's a real sellor for this lil puppy. I have seen people doing dual / quads / mesh...you name it. There's a dedicated page for the calix (it's made byleo). Unique deck but seriously easy to build on and never leaks or floods on me. @Billie-cig is the man, honestly, customer service is second to none.
