I asked this question as two part question in a different thread and everyone was so helpful answering one of the questions but overlooked the question on RTAs.
I am lost In vapor land - I have a bottom feeder setup I love and use 100% of time now. . But I have a 30 watt and 50 watt regular devices sitting in drawer collecting dust. Would love to get a nice tank for them. ....

I hear lemo 2 (but then I see ads for lemo v4), I see Kayfun v4 , zephryous (spelling) rave reviews, and Goliath (total mixed reviews on this one).

The idea of controlling the juice/liquid amount that goes to the coil area appeals to me greatly. I forget what the technical term is for it but I think the Goliath and Kayfun v4 has this feature. But from reading seems like maybe they haven't perfected this feature yet or have they ?

Looking for biggest bang for my buck at this time for this product I would really be looking in the clone market cause last time I checked Kayfun v2's were 130$.

If anyone can shed any light, opinions, other helpful threads, websites. anything I would be greatful.

A 3 buy XYZ from abc store will have me sold.

Thx for your time.

Kinda a tank junkie fool here.

Orchid V6 is my daily driver. Easy to build on and decent airflow for my regular 12mg nic juice. Very cool vape. Never leaks or dry hits.

Interested in the Lemo 2 but haven't got one yet. Single coil so I'll get one for nickel sooner or later.

Taifun GT V2. Crazy easy to build on. Decent airflow. Works well with nickel. Cool vape up to about 25w but gets warm above that. Not enough air for over 30. Never dryhits but once in awhile for no reason they leak.

Kayfun V4. Beautiful tank. Moody thing. Very poor airflow. Warm vape. Doesn't actually have juice control as the name would imply, the JC is just an on/off switch. AFC is so stupid that in this day and age its pretty sad, EXTREMELY poorly thought out. Not a bad tank just way over complicated for what is basicly a rebuildable Nautilus. Rarely leaks but sometimes dryhits.

Silverplay. Airy mutha. Super easy to build. Little noisey. As luck would have it the build deck fits under the beauiful Kayfun tank. Never leaks or dry hits.

Goliath. I've only used this in the store. THIS IS A NICE UNIT!!!

Goblin. I have this but haven't built it yet. Tiny, tiny tiny build deck. MASSIVE juice channels. This could create interesting possiblities that I need to explore.

Cthulhu. Early in my testing here. Best build deck ever. SUPER MASSIVE juice channels. I swear this unit builds itself. Lay it next to some wire and read things on the innernet and look down and its done. Vape is warmer then my ideal, working on that. Zero leaks or dry hits.

I use the same DIY juice in all the above except the Cthulhu which is stepped on with VG to get to 6mg. Cthulhu gives by far the best flavor even with the cut. Orchid and Silverplay are prolly about the same. Taifun give good flavor, slightly wet below 20w but still good. Kayfun gives good flavor to just less of it and very wet and sloppy as with its poor airflow it can't run hot enough to truely vaporizer juice. I've built the V4 down to .6Ω and with no air its way to hot and above 1 its way to wet.

Gonna take alot to pull me away from Orchids but the Cthulhu way just do it.

The above is all based on flavor BTW. For cloudz I don't know. The Taifun and Kayfun prolly put out the thickest cloudz. Thick but small. The others all have much bigger cloudz but less dense so it looks big for a second then its gone.

I'd say if you really like the kayfuns, the Squape R would be a huge step forward. Easiest build, great flavor, better airflow....it's a great tank. There's the Erlkonigen, Taifun GT2, Lemo, Lemo2....all very good tanks if you want to stay in the kayfun-like neighborhood - single coil, mouth to lung attys.

The Billow V2 is pretty excellent if you want to get into some of the more "productive" attys...and, as coolrat said, the Orchid V6 is a winner.

What kind of vape do you want? If you are a mouth-to-lung hitter than you need something with a tighter draw. If you are a direct lung hitter, you need something with an open draw.

If you want a lung hitter, I would suggest a Kanger Subtank Mini as a starting point.. It has the OCC coils and also comes with an RTA section that you can build yourself. Gives you options, though no adjustable juice flow. And I think they are affordable at 30 bucks or so.

Lemos are easy to build and have adjustable air-flow. I have owned and used the original version but have not tried the Lemo 2 which adds a top-fill option.

I have 30 RTAs currently. I made some suggestions in your other thread. Tell us more about how you like to vape, your budget and if you want any particular features (sounds like you want juice control?)

These attys have juice control:

Rose v2. If you're on a budget, an HCigar clone. Best flavor RTA IMO.

Gus Phenomenon. Also amazing flavor.

Aqua v2 or SE. Can be single, dual or used as a dripper (the v2).

Calix by Leo. I didn't get on well with the tiny post screws and they drove me nuts, but a fine tank otherwise.

Ataman II by Titanium Mods

Tilemahos by GG

Gus Estia but it is a tri coil atty

. Good Point on how I vape and what I looking for and budget. Just to clarify I'm not a Kayfun aficionado it just happens to be the only tank I bought (clone) and used a little. It was nice when I built it right and had the right juice in it. But getting those proper started to annoy me :) since I already knew how to build for my REO to my liking.

Overall - easy to build on (deck n screws n posts-I know its not going to be perfect at my price range), easy to refill the juice, and take on the go , under $50, mouth to lunger,
Also - a single coil doesn't bother me (not opposed to a dual coil but not if gonna cost much more and be a pain to build. I actually never tried a dual though ).

I hear great stuff on lemo2. But was shopping briefly and I see lemo v6s out there(clones I think) - are there version 6s out but the version 2 the best ?

My budget has drastically changed since my injury. Like I stated Really looking at a reputable clone or original hcigar type- 30-50$ if it's really worth it. Preferably 20-30$. I now that sounds super cheap - I should have stated my budget first as this probably eliminates 90% of the choices.

A lot of these you guys mentioned I never heard of - @roxynoodle ---- ROSE v2 - seems to meet my exact requirements. Roxy - like the Calix (I think Leo's are way past my budget! But tiny post screws is a big no no - drives me nuts. I guess easy fix with buying other screws on eBay but rather have something work out of the gate.

Thx coolerat too for extensive post as well as EVERYONE else who posted your knowledge.

That was the problem for the Calix though. No room for either longer screws or ones with bigger heads.

That Lemo 6 had to be a clone. There is the original Lemo, which I have, the Drop which is smaller and the Lemo2. I love my original Lemo. The airflow can be dialed down as tight as you want it. It has a large build deck, easier than the Kayfun. I think the flavor is much better than the Kayfun. They are under $30 many places.

The Rose is not the easiest build at first, but it gets easier with practice. It is still the queen on flavor, and I've owned a bunch, lol!

I do have an HCigar authentic, the HC Plus. Love this tank, but no one in the US sold it. I got it at Health Cabin in China. $35 shipped using China Post.

You can get a UD Aga t5 from Triangle Vape for $10. Its an easy build and has good flavor. The filling method is through a tiny grub screw, which sucks IMO. I'm using an unconventional.fill method. I set the glass tank carefully on the metal part, close the airholes, fill, carefully screw on the top cap and invert for that last half turn. Then open the airholes while inverted.

You should also look at Taifun GT2 clones. Taifuns are very easy to build and fill.
