I got flavorings from this company but on the calculator it asks what the base of the flavoring is pg or vg but on the flavorings it doesn't say what the bases and someone else ordered it for me so I'm not 100 percent on what they ordered on the base for it

the end is here. the end of smoking that is lol vape on

I'm making a peanut butter and Marlboro blend tobacco mix and I know I wanted to mainly tobacco but with an accent a peanut butter do you think 6% m type and 4% pdlb will work I just don't understand fully how the percents work for the flavoring

It depends upon the specific flavoring. One can be good at 20% flavoring, by volume. Another might only need 10%, and yet another may only need 0.3% for a full flavor.

If it's The Perfumer's Apprentice (TPA) M-Type Premium flavor that you're talking about, the bottle that I got is incredibly strong. I find that 1 drop per 10ml batch is too strong for my liking, so I weakened my flavoring to 1/4 strength by adding 300% PG to it. Some seem to like it much stronger than that, which I simply can't fathom. Maybe I got an off batch.

I have no idea about the other flavor.

I'd suggest starting very low (1%), and taste-testing as you go. The nicotine strength may suffer a bit in the end, but you'll have a pretty good idea how much of that flavoring that you need for that particular flavoring after that.

For example, if you determine that the m-Type is good by itself at 0.5% of the finished liquid, and the PB is good at 12% by itself, then you'd usually want to use a portion of those amounts for a mix. For a 67/33 split of flavoring, I'd use about 67% of the 0.5% (0.33% M-Type), and 33% of the 12% (4% PB.) That would be a total of 4.33% flavoring in your e-juice.

Clear as mud?

I have a question as I am a very impatient person. with diy juices, can you taste it as soon as you finish mixing it or do you have to steep it just like the premixed stuff?

Yes, you can use it after mixing. Some mixes may change slightly with age, but it's not usually by a lot.

The m type is a marble type of tobacco from RTS vapes

I have no idea what that is, sorry. You'll probably just have to expiriment.

If any of your flavorings are well-known, you can find some guidance in the recipe sub-forum, and in the flavorings stickies at the top of this one.
