The 50mm glass funnel that I bought from RTS over a year ago, is no more That funnel was great for filling narrow neck bottles and will have to be replaced.

I have a couple of the glass 50ml beakers that I use when mixing, I would like to get the glass funnels and measuring cylinders instead of the plastic I'm using, but with my arthritic thumbs, I'm always dropping things, so I'm afraid of dropping and breaking them.

We have turkeys off and on but, they don't stick around longer than a week or two

People always look at me because I look like I have a big tumor on my leg. It is a pocket full of peanuts to feed my critters. lol

Op, I use plastic for the same reason, I drop things too easily. I don't have many mixing tubes and no beakers since I am just mixing for myself. The most I mix at one time is 30ml. I keep one 30ml batch of my ADV steeping as I vape on another batch. When it runs out, I mix another to steep.

Oh, Salem I forgot to tell you that the last time I mixed, I used Mr. Greek Flavorist's gently stirred method, and I can confirm that my palate is indeed not as delicate as his. I can tell no difference between it and the ones I mix with my whirligig blender

Bov, it sounds like your whirligig blender does not serve much of a purpose if you get the same results by stirring? May just be one more item to clean and store.

Yes, actually I will get 2 with my next order, plus I think I want one or both of those Erlenmeyer flasks and rubber stoppers - but, nobody ask why

Cubfan, look towards the bottom of the forum for Aroma Ejuice ( in the suppliers section). They carry it. I think that there is a new place as well that I will try and find for you.

ETA- The other place just carries the juice made with WTA. Aroma is your best bet.

Yep and it only takes a very small amount. I line up my bottles, pour about 1 inch of bottom in first one, replace cap, shake, pour in next bottle, repeat. Once they are all done, i leave the cap off and let any leftover alcohol evaporate. If there is very much left, I cap the last bottle and save the PGA to reuse. I only do that if I use it on clean bottles though. It really is inexpensive to use and beats the heck out of boiling IMO.

I will never boil again That was so easy, no electricity and no getting burned playing with hot bottles in hot water - Thanks salem.

For the most part we have been out of wholesale stock for about a week. We know many of you feel let down and that RTS is an unreliable supplier. All I can say is we have over 600 liters of pure liquid nicotine made. We continue to have regulatory issues with Federal agencies. The new problem is the FDA. They are using every trick in the book to delay transport within the USA to our Huntersville, NC facility. 100 liters has been released and should be delivered to us on Monday. Another 100 liters should be delivered next Wednesday. We expect to be back to 100% WHOLESALE INVENTORY late next week. The FF is good at 3% so that would be .30 ml for a 10 ml. I would use 1-2 drops max of the menthol but, I like my menthol light.

Salem I have found something with the use of menthol in higher quantity mixes.

I rarely use menthol:
My lips were starting to chap really bad then they started to develop an ulcer. So I immediately assumed it was my drip tip -- interchanged and all sanded smooth it was not my drip tips. I swap and mix juice flavors all day so I could not narrow it down as fast as I would have liked, after days of hurting lips.

I made a 60ml forest fruit with 4 drops of menthol @ 5% and it steeped for three weeks. Its so tasty but its the reason my lips have ulcers. I developed them one other time and it was with another vendors long steeped menthol e juice, now I know why.

Clearly with menthol you cannot let it steep to long or mix to big a batch. The 10ml of forest fruit I mixed I had no issues using one drop of menthol.. This forest fruit mix just keeps giving lol.. Menthol can be dangerous if used improperly and let to steep is my hypothesis.

I ask is there another flavor enhancer that will bring out the forest fruit mix like menthol does it really is sub par without that drop of menthol.. The menthol blossoms it and I do not want to use menthol anymore.

So happy my RY4 was done steeping yesterday and it was so good alone, I did not use any FF. My lips instantly started to heal, Im using vitamin e on them at all times and they were mostly healed already. Then at bedtime I had to have my FF and bam lips ulcered instantly. This is 4 drops of menthol in 60ml its unbelievable how it just grows and grows as it steeps.. I laughed because it all made sense at that point..

Im going to try it with mint instead now, whoa ... I now understand also why majors use mint as their menthol cartridges..
Careful with the menthol..

Nicotine update:
I was not feeling the nicotine which I posted earlier.
The vg 48mg nic has steeped 3 and 1/2 weeks and been mixed like crazy its 48mg vg, I had used half of it so I mixed the other half with pg and it has been steeping now a week and a half and has a huge boom @24mg lol.. Knowledge is awesome as a noob diy, I had no idea it also needed steeping and a violent mixing. I knew it was me all along and I can happily mix at 12mg again. The 36mg mix I made has given me the shivers after a 2 week steep.

@Visus, I had a similar experience when I first started vaping. I used a strong menthol because it was what it took to get me off the cigs. That is why I always advise people to stay low on the menthol in their mixes. I use 1 drop per 10 mls on the rare occassion that I use menthol anymore. I would never go beyond 1 drop per 5 ml.

I also have had similar experiences with some fruit flavors.

Having said all of that, I know people that use both menthol and fruit at high % and have no issues at all. Everyone is different in what they react to

Update - I have just vaped a good bit of my FF and menthol FF 3% and menthol 1% that has been steeping well over 1 month. No issues at all.

Visus, I would bet that it is the fact that you went so high on the FF in combo with the menthol that gave you the problem. I get a sore throat if I mix FF too high. But, not everyone is that sensitive.

I have a friend that vapes Dragonfruit at 20% all day, every day. I tried and liked it but, it gave me the sore lips/mouth/throat like you have experienced.

When I add things to my FF, I add creamy flavors like bavarian cream, vanilla cupcake, vanilla, etc. I go for more of a smoothing flavor than something to make it harsher lol

I made my mind up --you helped there ---im 90% sticking with tobacco mixes. I did make up another batch of Ff just now,(i love this stuff) no menthol, replaced with mint, its steeping now.. This is so much fun. I think and know its my love of potato chips-- I eat them everyday and today I also mended mind, in, that they have to go.. The salt was killing my lips every mistake entry into the grinder lol...

Mixed @3% I hope this is amazing.. I will try it with bavarian and vanila cupcake

Sad thing now with plausible rescues, I usually measure ph, I was lazy and didn't, I just flushed the remainder 20ml booo
I may have been able to rescue it but as tasty as was I knew it had to go...

Citrus flavors cause those problems for me, both vaping and eating. Love orange juice, but even drinking the low acid kind tears up the inside of my mouth. You'll get it Visus, just takes a little trial and error
