Though if you have any remarks to make about any particular vendor, I think there's a special subforum for that, and I think that mostly applies if you have something negative to say about them, since I think that's the only place where they're allowed to respond.

Thanks for all your help. It was a Vision Spinner, they gave me a refund. What do you think is the best starter to see if you like vaping.
Depends on how you smoke, I understand most people in the states smoke mouth to lung so an Endura TC18 would be a good place to start.

Well, my first vape was an eGrip by Joyetech and with the very first puff I was convinced it has the power to get me off the cigs. And it did.
It's an all in one unit with built in battery and tank. Problem with that configuration is that when the battery will no longer charge you trash it and the tank impossible to clean properly. Still have it now for 6 months and still working but I've packed it away.
Joyetech, like most of our manufacturers have had a few duds. Maybe more than some of the others. Their Joyetech/eleaf isticks are quite popular but avoid the 20 watt version and I "THINK" the 50 watt had issues.
I'm not as thrilled with all the newer technology available as most of our members. Kinda found my way back in time to 2013 tech. I'm very happy with my Sigelei ZMax V3 telescopic Mods. Replaceable batteries and you choose your tank. Many like the mini Nautilus on a Zmax i prefer the Evod tanks (slightly modified).You can see my Zs by clicking my avatar. Getting a little hard to find. they are available on clearance for 9.99 shipping included. But you'll need batteries, charger and a tank.

My very first was a Joyetech cigalike, eRoll... The device itself has all the usual limitations of cigalikes, but it's nearly 2 yrs old now and still works.

Joyetech, Innokin, Aspire, Kangertech, eLeaf, etc. all are respected brands/suppliers. Best thing to do is look at the individual mod/tank from whoever makes it before you decide to buy.
Youtube reviews (in combination with this forum) are pretty good at letting you know the +/- of each devise.
This is probably the best advice you'll ever get. You would find a dedicated thread for nearly every device or tank by simply entering the name in the search function at the upper right on this sight.
I have the Ego one mega, Ego one Vt and the Evic VTC mini and I enjoy them all and recommend the CLR coils if you are going to use the appropriate Joyetech tanks.
Oh, I see. Vision Spinner is a battery made by Vision. You are free to say what you like, good or bad.
It's running down a Vendor without them having a chance to say their bit that is generally frowned upon (negative reviews).
I write lots of scathing comments about certain brands. A brand (or a specific vendor) is different from a make. Vision is a make (although there's more to it actually).
I would categorically not recommend a 'dumb' battery which relies on the atomizer resistance to vape at a certain power. For me, that counts out iJust2, eGo ONE, and all that type. They are very powerful and lack 100% flexibility.
The Innokin Endura T18 or T22 is a beginners kit and very nice too, but they don't offer even as much flexibility as your Spinner did.
Really, you want an adjustable VV/VW mod. That's in the wording... VARIABLE....
I suggest an iStick 30 or 40TC and an Aspire Nautilus tank for beginners. If you like the idea of a removable battery, the Kanger Subox kit.
Thanks for all your help, it can get quite confusing with all the companies and all the choices out there. I am starting to learn about all of them through this website and the people in it.
@johnjub I have to agree with suprtrkr above. I was a 43 year smoker and quit within 2 days when I bought my Kangertec Subox. Mind you, this device worked for me and may or may not work for you. Design is simple and uses 1 - 18650 battery. Then I found sub ohm tanks and coils and another world opened up. Good luck on your journey, find what works for you, whatever it is and ENJOY!
