I've been trying to find a better way to vape as I've been direct-dripping for a few years and find it to be quite messy. I found filling tanks really easy and much easier to see than filling cartos since you can see how much juice you're putting in. However, I've had numerous problems with everything I've tried.

I first tried the Kanger ProTank but I keep getting atomizers that are DOA or die almost immediately after receiving them. Either that or I end up breaking the glass on these things just by holding them too tight. Also, I don't seem to get the flavor from this as I did when I direct dripped.

So I tried using iClear16's but they start to taste burnt or something after only a day or two. The juice seems to turn bad or something.

My most recent experiment was with an Aspire BDC Clearomizer but the drip tip was loose and ended up breaking off easily.

I need a good tank or clearomizer or other method of vaping that isn't too messy. Any ideas?

I have a Protank 2 and a Davide. I have to admit I like the performance of the Davide better but the Protank is easier to fill. But I also have about a Ibtanked carto tank. They are so much better then the smoktech plastic tanks I have. Not only in durability but it seems like they just feed the carto better and in my experience a carto last a lot longer in them.

I recently got a V-Fate Nova. I really like it. It's a lot like the Vivi Nova, but it's pyrex (tempered) glass and encased in metal. It has a narrow viewing window, so be prepared to look through it at a light source when filling. The silicone caps on the heads are much more stable then the standard Vivi Nova, so I think that's a great plus. I've also found that they don't get dry hits as quickly as the standard VN, so I can wait longer to refill it.

I also use the Protank 2. It's a cooler vape, but I like it also. I haven't had so much of the leakage problems that others have had, but I also recently found out that it's better to blow out the occasional gurgle when it is NOT put together. (I don't remember the explanation, but it had something about creating a vacuum and just blowing more juice through it.)
Hope this helps!

Regarding Bottom Feeders, I have a Missy's Wetbox but I had problems with that, for some reason the bottle or the atomizer somehow was leaking inside the unit. I'll check out the Rio though and see what its all about. I really liked direct dripping but it was just too messy even with a drip shield. This is why I went toward tanks and clearos. I want to thank everyone for the suggestions and helpful hints, I have a good jumping point for my research.

Have you thought about using a bottom feeder ? You'll get the same great flavor you get with direct dripping. The Reo gets the highest recommendations here of all the bottom feeders but there are other bottom feeders if you do some searching.

since you been dripping I'm guessing you have experience with rebuilding and making coils, and in that case I would suggest a Kayfun , Taifun, Fogger, Squape and/or their clones.
I currently am using a Kayfun Lite plus and it's clone side by side and they are identical where it counts.
The stainless steel on the clone is a bit thinner and threads aren't quite as good as the original one, but vape quality and vapor production are equal (same build).

Additionally, the very newest Kanger Aero Tank is great competition to the before mentioned re-buildable tanks
