Runny Nose?

Hello fellow vapesters. Just wondering if any of you have noticed that you get kind of a runny nose from vaping? I have allergies (mild) which has a similar effect but I am assuming that what I am talking about is from vaping because I notice it when I start vaping. Don't get me wrong though because it is not a severe runny nose or anything like that....... I can feel just a slight runniness inside my nose. Any others experience that? Which component of juice do you think it may be that is responsible?

Yep, the ol' honker runs a bit when I exhale too much through my nose. Wipe it. Blow it, and exhale more from the mouth. You will note too that your drip tip will acquire liquid in it from vapor passing through. A wipe with a pipe cleaner will take care of that problem.

Hey thanks........... I do tend to exhale through my nose more than my mouth (unless I am cloud chucking).......... I also inhale through my nose quite often........... Never thought about that before..... I must be having a brain cramp or something Makes lots of sense for sure....thanks for replying

Do you experience the same thing if you take a long hot shower? If so, it's probably just the moisture, as granny said.

Yep! I get a runny nose the minute I start exhaling through my nose, which I don't do very often for that very reason...

But it's such a shame coz in order to really identify and enjoy all (or most) of the flavors in the ejuice I really need to exhale through my nose, but I can only do that for like, a fraction of a second. If I keep exhaling through the nose for more than half a second it starts dripping like a faucet! LOL!

Yes, I agree 100% with you.......... I am getting older now (in my late 50's) and just in the last two years I have developed slight allergies. I have never had any type of allergies in my life until 2 years ago. I think vaping through the nose magnifies it slightly.

I believe that it is just condensation causing the runny nose.

No, it is just condensed VG/PG from your nose. If you accidentally taste it, it is a bit sweet.

When you have been vaping so heavily it drips down to you upper lip, and you absent-mindedly lick it off. No, I won't admit to it.

I've had sinus and mild allergy issues for decades, and haven't really noticed a change since I started vaping.

Definitely dripping from the nose sometimes, plus I've noticed that if I exhale upwards from my mouth (bottom lip out a little more than the top lip) I get condensation on my mustache. Needless to say, I try to exhale straight out to avoid that (but I've never tried tasting it, @0mg Meniere!).
