A government regulation is the most straight forward way to crush most any business, hope this don't catch on, as there are already USPS shipping regs for just about everything.

Check these for nicotine shipping...http://www.moellerinc.com/docstore/USPSpub52.pdf
and then....http://www.nalc.org/depart/cau/pdf/manuals/PUB%2052%20May%202012%20Hazardous,%20Restricted%20and%20Perishable%20Mail.pdf

Any lawyers out there that can understand these? If I read some of it correctly, shipping nicotine liquids in the same package as secondary lithium batteries is prohibited.

I smoked pipe before vaping
Tyhe post office made new rules a year or so ago
No tobacco products of any kind(that include nic and anything containing such)
No dangerouse liquids(nic is a deadly poisen)

Thats why most pipe smokeing sites began using ups its the only way to ship now

I would assume that pure nic and flavorings will be considerd by the post office as being in the same catagory

According to the post office if its nic in a suspension its considered pure
Its not what I cosider it its what the post office considers pure

As far as it being a poisen there is only one creature can eat a tobacco plant and live so when you boil the plant down and take the nic it can be considered pure
Brown and williamson does when they add it to analogs to boost the nic hit

What creature would that be, Dave51?

Lots of kids have eaten tobacco cigarettes and lived. Nicotine taken orally triggers vomiting, which rids the body of most of the poison.

I grew tobacco for years along with many others i knew
The work that lives on tobacco is
Ive seen more than one person leave a tobacco field from handeling the plants with bare hands

The level of toxicity of nicotine is not an issue in this case. Nicotine is listed in the USPS guide I posted as a hazardous material that can be shipped under certain restrictions, with certain packaging and with specified labels.

It is a Class 6.1 Nicotine liquid which can be shipped as "Only ORM-D" for the purposes of and classified as a:

Consumer commodity is the proper shipping name of an ORM-D material
that is packaged and distributed in a quantity and form intended or suitable
for retail sale, and designed for individual consumption for personal care or
household use purposes. This term can also include certain drugs or
medicines. Not every hazardous material permitted to be shipped as a
limited quantity can qualify as a consumer commodity

It cannot be shipped with an item that is in another hazardous class, such as Secondary Lithium Batteries which is in Class 9 ......so if one were shipping an eGo battery, you cannot ship a bottle of juice in the same box.

That's how I read the email. Although, considering the products it's pretty funny. If the liquid spilled on the battery, nothing would happen. The biggest danger always is the battery as, if not packed safely, it could short and heat up causing a fire. If that happened after a spill of the nicquid, it would start out as a nice vape until it got that burnt smell.
