Russian 91% clouds??

Picked up a Russian 91% + a vaporshark dna30 and have built maybe a half-dozen coils/builds on it and the flavor is amazing. I'm finding that the vapor, while overall is good, is still lacking in my mind being a rebuildable. Everything I've built comes in around 1 ohm or better and was curious how I could tweak my build to really pump the vapor. I'd love to see a really decent cloud come out of this thing, but I don't really know the ideal coil. I understand it's not going to match an rda but looking for the best for this device. I should also note that so far I've only run 28g kanthal with oragnic cotton wick, and that my vaporshark will only fire down to .5 ohm. My juice is always 50/50 or VG heavy. Any suggestions would be awesome, if only for that one glorious cloud coming out of this setup.

I have had no personal experience with Russian 91%. But I am pretty sure it stands for 91% flavor, 9% clouds :p But on serious note, It should give you quite a bit more power than a 510 Ego battery or something of the iTaste nature. If you are seeing some improvement over a starter kit VV/VW system, it may be that the clouds you are looking for just don't happen with a Russian 91%. I have never heard of anyone buying Russian 91% or Kayfun for vapor production, but I do understand that if its not producing even a slightly satisfying amount it could be due to not enough juice to the coil. Sounds like power is not an issue...With a DNA 30 you should be covered there. For more vapor usually the lower you build the quicker the vapor with come. But you can only build so low depending on juice flow to coil and airflow, otherwise its a brutal vape.

My next pva purchase it planned to be a russian / kayfun clone. I saw a review of one by PBusardo in which he theorizes that the reason the flavor is so intense is because of the way the chimney is made, concentrating the vapor on its way up. So I think it's more built for flavor than for massive vapes. Personally I have yet to vape on anything that produces those gigantic, dense, pure white clouds that I've seen people producing in the B@Ms. Maybe someday I'll get there but right now a nice relaxing vape is my goal, not to set a record on how big the cloud I'm chasing is.

Yeah my R91 is my go to device and I just keep a few drippers built if I get an urge to blow serious clouds. I recently moved from a mech to a DNA30 as well and find that actually building higher, ala 1.2-1.4ohms, and running it around 20 watts gives me the best performance.

I have seen people mod their Russian/Kayfun by having the juice channels opened up and the airflow holes drilled out. That would probably do the trick but I suspect that might cause leaking.

If you're interested in exploring other options, the Orchid is pretty awesome. It's basically a dual coil, lung hitting kayfun.

Airflow. That's the key to vapor. It has less to do with any particular build and more to do with air. R91 is lacking in the airflow dept, therefore lacks in clouds as well. Open up your R91 airflow to fully open, try to lung inhale and even let some air slip in between your lips as well to give it additional airflow, and you'll magically see more clouds using the same build and same wattage level.

Yeah... The R91 is in no way geared towards clouds. It is a flavor machine, and produces a fantastic mouth to lung hit. IMO resembles a cigarette pretty dang well...

If you are after clouds with an RTA I would go ahead and purchase an e leaf lemo... It is very very similar to the R91 so there will be no learning curve, and it has easily 5 times the airflow... I own both devices, and the e leaf produces far more vapor.

Here is a good review that came out today on it....
