I am pulling night shift and don't have it with me. Was searching for a flush mount ring for mounting it on my Provari, and a short drip tip in the same finish (which is proving quite elusive) when I discovered there were 3 different revisions of it and even a polished version.
Thought I'd just ask what differences were and try to ascertain which one I have in morning, but can certainly post some pics tomorrow.
Thanks.

I have 2 versions of the Russian. The polished is the Russian 91% & the matte is the full size Russian. Didn't realize there was a difference until I received it & noticed it was quite a bit taller than the 91% version.

What I mean is there is a Russian 91%, 91% V2, and a 91% V3. Like the Mini Protank 2 has different versions or revisions of same tank.
My understanding is that one version is made of 304 SS, while another is of 316 SS. Dont know what other differences are and don't know which version is which.
Yeah, that polished one looks awesome Highwayman. The finish is the the only thing I don't like about the version I have (whichever one that is) and didn't know there was a polished one until after I bought mine.
Haven't even gotten to play with mine or build it. I bought right before work tonight, and it's killing me to play with it!
The polished just would have looked better on the standard finish Provari I have.
I know it can be polished out, but then I would lose the logo proving it's an authentic Russian 91, lol. That, and I just can't seem to find a short drip tip with the same finish.

Some of the clones/ replicas have listed different versions.
As far as the originals, it really looks like the V1 in the photo
The V2 has just recently been released and has a spring loaded center pin, as well as a standard drip tip, without the use of an adapter. (they did away with the screw in type
I haven't heard of an Authentic Russian 91% rev3

I have seen that Kebo released a polished version, but it is still a Rev1 with a different finish.

Anyone have the Version 2 yet? Could you point to a link of a pic of it?

Ok I saw what claimed to be pics of Version 2 on Google and I could see the where the drip tip look to be solid 510, but found no pics of the center pin. Do you mean that the actual center post is spring loaded or just the adjustable positive contact screw is spring loaded?
Sorry for all the questions but I was assured this was an authentic version 3, while it is authentic, it is a version 1. For $100 I expected to get what I paid for, lol. The latest version at least.

Makes me wish I had waited now, especially for a polished one. Oh well, this thing is a true beast. The amount of flavor and vapor I am getting is incredible!
On my first 91 the chimney was slightly bent and it seat in the o ring quite right. It didn't leak, but it weeped from the airflow control screw and the fill screw. Got it exchanged and this one works like a champ.
Thanks for all your help and input guys.
Anyone think the spring loaded center pin will be a part we can purchase and use in the version 1?
