Are there different manufactures of the Russian 91%?

I was about to order one from Viper vape but under the description it says the following: (Note to customers :This is not the Kebo Version of this popular clone but it is just as good!) Then I found The Russian 91% at another site where it actually says "Kebo Russian 91%" right in the title, however it will end up costing $10 more, which isn't huge, but still, if I can save $10 I will. They look identical in the pictures and there is only a $12 difference in price (not factoring separate discounts from at each site)

Just wondering if anyone knows what this is all about? If there are 2 (or more) different manufacturers of The Russian 91%, which one is the original/best one? has anyone ordered The Russian 91% from Viper vape? is it of good quality?

yes, I noticed that shortly after my OP. I was just curious because viper vaper's is only like $12 cheaper than vapor kings, yet it states that its NOT the Kebo. I've also checked out the similar but less expensive clones mentioned by suspectk, and none of them have the "Russian 91%" branding on the side, but viper vapes does.

Now I'm in a bind, because it would be really nice to save the money, but can't be sure of the quality of the Tobeco/hcigar/EHpro ones. I saw a thread here at ECF, where one person would say tobeco is good, others are crap, then the next person would say EHpro, good but others not, and same for hcigar. Also, apparently the air intake is too small (too tight a draw) on those other clones. Might just suck it up and pay $85 for the real deal.

Spend a little extra and get the real deal. You may waste cash on cheaper clones only to get the pricey one later on after being disappointed with the cheaper versions. I wasted money on a Rocket Kayfun, which I waited 5 weeks for from China. I ended up with the same R91 as Durdan and it works well as long as it is setup properly.

That clone durdan posted is very interesting. I have yet to see anyone selling a 1:1 russian 91% clone. Anyone know anything about it? Who makes it?

Durdan could you maybe post some pics of yours and the box it came in? The box looks the be different than a real russian box.

I'd also like to see the box that clone came in, and know who manufactures it. It's not exactly a 1:1 because the top piece that screws into the top most section of tank, and the drip tip are kayfun style. Notice how the drip tip has that ridge at the bottom that flanges out, and it just pushes into the top piece. The Russian 91%'s drip tip is straight all the way down, and screws into the top piece.

Also I followed some links via google, that led me to another ECF thread, where Durdan made a similar post linking to an ebay auction selling that same clone. Also Durdans ECF location says he's in texas, and the ebay seller selling that clone is also in texas, may just be a coincidence, but I wonder if Durdan is the one selling them on ebay?

The tobeco version has better threads out of it and eh pro. I'll take that for exchange of the raised common deck contact or no included poly window..at least with mine. Which is the only fault I see in tobeco's. Cycling is different in metal on ehpro, and threads are horrible..I haven't tried fixing them yet though. Sometimes taking the cap off will remove chimney snd evap chamber at same time, which can be a problem if you need to troubleshoot or get tired of the juice being used quickly..often my case. I'm waiting to see about the actual kfl+ by tobeco on 101vape, before I go with a hcgar.

I couldn't just own one, that's why I went ahead with clones. A.) I can try it out cheaper..B.) I don't have ~$700 to replace carto tank rotation. But I love the system so much, I will be getting as many of the originals as I can.

Just checked that out on 101vape. Its crazy... I just posted about that clone of the Russian 91% clone that Durdan linked to on ebay having a kayfun style top piece and drip tip.....
It's not exactly a 1:1 because the top piece that screws into the top most section of tank, and the drip tip are kayfun style........
The kayfun lite plus clone on 101vape is the exact opposite, its a clone of the kayfun lite plus not Russian 91%, yet it has the Russian 91% top piece and drip tip (no ridge, screws in).

At this point, I'm wondering if vendors are just ordering up whatever spare parts they can find in bulk/wholesale... assembling them together (since they're all interchangeable) and selling them as a clone.

^Not all parts are interchangeable. I bought a lite clone while I was waiting for russian91 clone from chinabuye. Their parts are not interchangeable. I don't know what manufacturer it is..it has pretty light engraving on the bottom of base, "manufactured in Germany designed in Russia"..yeah right, but no side logo engraving. I don't know why they didn't clone both 1:1.. I just found drip tips for my clones. I guess I could deal with a screw in, but I'd like the option to not have to use an adapter.

Nice name...I guess that isn't against the rules.lol
