I love my Russian91% so much I need to buy a second one.

i have one and its nice if you build it right...it performs so well its one you might have to lower nic levels

Might??? I went from 18mg straight down to 7.5 (I mix 6mg and 9mg) 18 mg was just violent in the throat and gave me an instant headache.

Is the Russian different than the original Kayfun design? I've been finding genuine Svoemoesto ones for about $110 and was thinking about just buying the real thing. If the Russian is a better tank, I'd prefer to pay less

I personally think the Russian is better it has a more open air draw if you prefer it

Honestly, I bought a Russian v2 about 3 months ago. It came with the v2 auto-adjusting pin.. which didn't work right. I was sent out the v1 pin to replace it.. which worked find as far as resistance is concerned. Unfortunately, the vacuum system on my Russian never would work right. Always had small, but effectual, vacuum leaks through the 510 pin.

Fed up, I finally got a REAL Kayfun 2 weeks ago. No more vacuum leaks, no more problems. Wicks like a charm, as it should. The way the Russian center pin is designed, there is an inherent tiny vacuum leak where the adjustable pin screws in to the center-pin. The hole should be closed off, but is not. This allows a tiny non-negligible amount of air into the system causing wicking problems. At least, that's been my experience. Russian owners can confirm this by holding their finger over the airhole and sucking on the driptip. If you can feel even the slightest amount of pull.. vacuum leak.

Goto VapeRev and get the real deal Kayfun.

VERY interesting sounds like you are right about this and I've never seen it mentioned on these forums before. I can get my Russians to wick but it's more sensitive then my kfl+ EhPro v2s
