ruyan(fuction recovery state)

Just got my ruyan cigar "bling" its doing well.
when reading the manual it states to use the "function recovery" state after 20-30 days use?
is this a cleaning cycle? you stick a paper clip in the hole near the plastic ash for 10 seconds.
it allso says you can perform this twice for each recovery?
Anybody know ?

i used the function recovery when my cigar went into meltdown after i left it close to some magnets kit...and it seemed to reset it somehow.

I've never used it, but my e-cigar has that feature.
