(I'm probably lucky that I don't use SMOK tanks...)
I'm guessing there was an issue with Wismec's and smok tanks that came up? I just got the RX 2/3 along with the Smok TF-G2 Beast Tamer and they didn't seem to "agree" with one another(when the SMOK wasn't leaking). Nonetheless I switched out tanks and I'm really loving the RX 2/3 and it's features, kicking myself that I impulse ordered an Eleaf TC 80W 5000mah(woodgrain) the night before the Wismec RX arrived:facepalm:. This is sure to be my go to mod and will be kept mostly in the two battery config. as I don't really need the extra power, but it's nice to have the option.

@TheMaddestVaper I'm not sure about the RX200S or RX 2/3, but I had read on multiple occasions and in multiple places that SMOK tanks did not play well with the original RX200. As far as I know, the 200S and hopefully 2/3 have updated connectors, but the RX200 510 connectors were basically being destroyed by SMOK tanks. How much of this was caused by inappropriate cranking down, I can't say. But there did seem to be some inherent mismatch between the original RX200 510 connectors and SMOK tanks, really any of a wide variety of SMOK tanks. Hopefully that won't be an issue with the 2/3 (unknown if it continued to be a problem on 200S) but I'm not taking any chances.

To be clear, I'm sure that SMOK tanks weren't the only toppers causing problems. Those just seemed to be very widespread (especially given the popularity of the SMOK tanks). As I've mentioned, I have had no real problems with the connector of my original RX200 besides some wobble.

The 2/3 should be similar to the 200s more than the 200 I would think. Yes? No? Maybe?

My RX200 can run a Crown tank somewhat comfortably.
It felt like it would kill my 200s though.
My Crown tanks fit well on GV Boxer Mods with FDV or VT 510's.

Jumping in to follow a little prematurely... sort of. I bought 3 black ones (already own 2 of the rx200s) but I received 3 in cyan yesterday so I had to send them back for a swap to black cuz I won't be caught dead with a cyan colored mod in public.
That's funny Foz, lol

I get a lot of compliments on my cyan mod from people (in public) down at the casino and even at my local B&M from other customers..

Why the move to temp control this is a discussion about a mod and it's ownership??.

Likely as it is a temp control mod. And the subforums in APV are generally more active than the catchall general thread at the bottom of the forum, so more discussion will probably go on.

All TC mods can do wattage. Not all wattage mods can do TC. Maybe the moderator who moved it will weigh in as well.

Eskie is correct.

Got my 3 x black today, testing first one and it won't power up in 2 battery mode but works fine in 3 battery mode. Anyone else have this issue? I assume the back plate is not making good contact for bypassing the 3rd battery but it is fully clicked in as far as I can tell.
My brother has the same issue..now only runs it in three batt mode...wished he'd just got the RX200s instead..lol

Yes, i already have 2 of the rx200s and 2 istick 200 for 3 battery mods so I wanted these for dual battery mode since I don't have any other dual battery mods. Sent them an email, haven't tested the other 2 yet. Will wait to hear back from the site I got them from first. Worst case I have more triple batt mods and these 3 are the fully blacked out version which I like better than my red/black and grey/silver rx200s mods.

lol, still in triple battery mode: just took a vape and set it down and noticed the screen flashing. took another and the battery indicator was switching between percent view and charging indicator, then it went to black screen with a large battery charging indicator, now back to normal view with with battery percents switching back and forth to a small battery charging icon... it is obv not plugged in

edit, now flashing from main screen to a screen saying to 'check usb adapter'. Guess I am sending this one and the 2 unopened ones back.

Still in triple battery mode on my first of 3 rx2/3 waiting on the vendor to return my email: Just got a low atomizer warning, put the tank on my istick 200 and it fires fine of course.

Update if anyone cares: I just tested the other 2 in dual battery mode and both work fine. The vendor gave me an RMA to send back the one that doesn't work in dual mode for inspection/replacement so assuming these 2 I am testing work in triple mode, and the vendor replaces that bad one with a good one, I am pretty happy at this point. I like the form factor of these in dual battery mode quite a bit.

Hello. I don't know if this is the right place to post my question, but I think it's better to ask here than to open a new topic.

So I just got the RX 2/3. Today I thought I'm gonna update the firmware, and put in my custom logo. So I downloaded the updater program from Wismec's web (ver 4.12), plugged the 2/3, and clicked update. Everything went smoothly. Closed the updater, and prepared my custom logo.

Problem is, the second time I opened the updater, it just went on an infinite loop (not responding), and eventually a window popped up saying program error. Triple checked everything, from cable connection to restarting PC, still the same problem. I copied everything on a thumb drive, and tried to do it on a different PC, still the same. The updater not responding and eventually needed to be closed.

Any of you experiencing this problem? Are there any ways to reset the firmware to its original factory version?

Oh, I'm using Windows 7 32-bit, btw.

Thank you.
