RX2/3 & SS304+316 TC behaviour

Hello,
do you have expirience with combining SS304 and 316L wires together? Does the TC work with it or isnthe VW only option? Got plenty of 304, so i would use 316L just for the thicker cores and wind it with 304, but i don't want to give up the TC option.
