Was wondering if anyone had come up with a rock-solid RY4 flavor using TV's "roll your own" option? I'm thinking it might be something like tobacco/Caramel/Vanilla Butternut?

Also, is it accepted practice when placing an order to say "light on the xxx"? I'd love to try out the Cafe Machiatto, but the dairy part of eliquid is usually not my favorite.

Thanks!

I would PM Mr tasty vapor or go to his website and if there is live help- ask.

Ive seen sooooooooo much discussion about this RY4 stuff...saw people rave about it. I tried it twice....didnt care for it.

Just wanted to say...Ive seen people describe what it tastes like...carmel, nut...so many different discriptions.

Why not have Geoff mix up the flavors that You think Ry4 has in it...

You can definitely make a clear note to Geoff on the flavors if there's something you want to minimize/maximize. I haven't tried Cafe Macchiato yet (I read one review that it's pretty creamy), but I asked for a strong coffee flavor on my Cafe Mocha, and it didn't disappoint. Deep, roasty coffee flavor with just a hint of mocha.

Our goal with our flavors was not to do what we can to make our products taste like the other big selling e-liquids from other liquid vendors.

We concentrated our efforts on providing a unique vaping experience that seemed to be lacking in the current e-liquid market. Something we thought might be more worth sticking with, hopefully reducing the likelihood of someone WANTING to return to those nasty analogs.

So, we're not trying to create things that taste like Marlboro, Camel, Hilton, 555 or RY4, nor do we care to start. If it happens by accident, it is most certainly by coincidence alone.

We feel that what we offer is unique enough a product and diverse enough a selection, that we don't need to copy other people's stuff.

It's like a test in school...We kept our eyes on our own paper and got our own results, not someone else's.

Oh Mr Tasy! I do appreciated your efforts however I am a RY4 junkie (not saying you don't have something that will just make me forget it) just not sure what that would be! I generally order RY4 every order (even though I am sure you could make some of the best), no matter how much I have in stock and since I hate change I generally try to order all from the same place. Doing a little taste testing now to find a new home.

While I can heartily concur with your general sentiment, I cannot disagree more on the metaphor... this is NOTHING like school... in school they don't repo your car if you flunk the test... know what I mean?

Besides, Geoff, I think what these well-intended people are saying is this... "Hey! TV. Please vape some RY4 and then make something similiar that actually tastes good, and we'll vape it all the live long day..."

And heck, we can rename it TV4... or maybe RY4000! Cuz before I taste it, I can already tell you it'll be a thousand times better than Dekang RY4...

Not coercing... just saying...

I think that's an effort best left to individual experimentation. Partly that's because of how much RY4 can vary among suppliers (IME, two different sources tasted quite different to me).

I can understand why he'd rather spend time perfecting the flavors he's got rather than working on having stuff like others already offer.
I mean, would you go to Chez Panisse and ask them to make a McDonald's Big Mac?
:p

If I really WANTED a Micky D's Big Schmac, I would, Madame...

But that's fine if he doesn't want to make something close to RY4... gives me something to do... of course, I'll cheat by using HIS flavors, but can you blame me?

LOL I don't want the current RY4 but have no idea od how to combine flavors to get the caramel, smokey semi sweetness that it used to be. Most people are just asking which combo of his current flavors come close. Since we do expect much better flavors from Tasty Vapor nd that i on reputation alone!

If I were at Chez whatever, no I would not ask for a Big Mac, but if I wanted thousand island dressing I would certainly ask for it! The thing about CHez whatever would be the quality of the beef among aother things!

Well, rather than greet your persistence with a resounding "Hell No", I thought I'd at least try to give you an explanation as to why it's never going to happen.

This going to Burger King and demanding a Quarter Pounder business isn't something I'm going to get myself into. I'll work on flavors and new flavors for sure, but if you want RY4, I suggest you go buy RY4.
If you want Hilton, go to a supplier that sells Hilton and buy Hilton.
If you want 555, go to a supplier that sells 555 and buy 555.
It makes no sense for me to waste my time an energy mimicking other people's stuff when you can simply GO BUY THE STUFF.

I just don't understand why it's so important for people to hound me about mimicking their crap. And if I DO start mimicking their crap, this opens up heat from another group of people who are now accusing me of trying to rip off "brand name" crap.

While it's not easy to say, I'm going to have to get used to saying it. NO.

I don't think you understand, no one wants you to mimic anything. LOL maybe you have just made an impression that you are so good at what you do that you can blow anyone's juice out of the water. Basically, my question and the other posters question I believe is what combination of flavors YOU believe would give nuances like RY4. You make tobacco, so does everyone else, along with several other flavors that can be found elsewhere. The thing is that you appear to be one of the best at what you do. I won't say that your are the best (haven't gotten my order yet), cause everyone's tastes differ, but you have the reputation.

Whether you choose to make your own caramel and whatever (can never figure out wht exactly that stuff is) is up to you. However, if cutomers are requesting suggestions for flavor combinations it is because they want to buy something that they like from you.. not from any other vendor ... you.

Not sure if anyone has come right out and asked that you dupe RY4 but I think I simply saw something asking which flavor combinations you make that you believed would mimic it. I may be wrong. Actually I figured when I asked, that what you suggested in combo, would blow it out of the water if you are looking for honesty!

No hassling here, Geoff... like I said, I'm just going to use your stuff and work on my own version of RY4... and when I perfect it, I'll send you sample, if you like... :)

Hey wait! You're god here on this subforum... maybe this thread deserves a good, old-fashioned smiting! Yah, baby... WRATH OF GOD!
