RY4 Double or Brandy

Got some FA RY4 Double and Brandy. After looking up many reviews, they both seem to be base flavors that only need a small percentage, 5%-8%. Of all the flavors I have to mix with it, the only one that I can think of that may be good would be whipped cream. If not that, then just a 5%-8% mix with a couple drops of sweetener. Here's what I'm thinking of mixing:

10ml bottle
70PG/30VG mix
0 Nic
5% RY4 Double or 5% Brandy
10%-15% Whipped Cream or 2-3 drops of sweetener.

Not looking for an overpowering flavor, but don't want something weak either. Looking for a good combination of dark base flavor with a moderate sweet hint thats good to vape on all day.

Thoughts?

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

Most DIYers try mixing single flavors first and getting the percentage right before trying to combine two flavors (especially when you're not following a recipe using flavors from the same manufacturer). Depending on whose flavoring you are using the percentage you use will vary widely.

Here's the ultimate thread on the subject of RY4 -- everything you ever wanted to know, including ratings and recipes. The Really Big RY4 Roundup < This is a monster thread!

Here is a RY4 recipe from member wilmc that is very good (his recipe uses Flavor Arts flavoring).

Here is my favorite version of RY4 - It's not really tobacco tasting. Its a pretty easy one to play with. You can use these flavors in different percents and get a good vape. Adjust to your liking.

RY4

2.0% FA RY4
1.0% FA Vanilla Bourbon
0.5% FA Caramel
0.5% FA Catalan Cream
0.5% FA Walnut

Awesome! Thank you! While I was waiting, I went ahead and mixed a 5% RY4 Double, 1ml Whipped cream and 70pg/30vg mix in a 10ml bottle. Not bad so far, small hint of tobacco and caramel, while the whipped cream provides a subtle balance keeping the flavors decently equal. Although, I have heard that the flavor changes after a while, so I'm going to keep on the lookout for that. May end up adding a drop or two of sweetener to see if it, well obviously, sweetens it up. I'll keep updates
