Has the 555 met its match?

I've been switch between them for as long as the sample lasted me.
Honestly? I don't know.
(Yes, that's how good I think the Prime 15 is...)

It's a better analog emulation than the 555.
Perhaps it still has a very slight nutty flavor waaaay in the back, but it's not easy to detect.
Has a very analog, slight "ashy" aftertaste, but not overwhelming.
Very, very well balanced.
Can vape it all day and still crave the next refill.

It has 2 things in common with the Bloog 555: It's not over-sweet and it's sort of "dry".

That "dry" feel is what I describe as "smoky".

I prefer the Tribeca to the Prime 15 (and the 555), and I never thought I would say that. It got better every day until it settled in to where it is now: fantastic.

Don't get me wrong, the Prime 15 is really good, but if I have to choose, it's Tribeca. Such a clean flavor, and now that it's steeped there's this ever-so-subtle hint of citrus that I just love. The other great thing about is that it's like an analog: if you want more throat hit, take a bigger drag. Same with the Prime. Most juices don't do that for me (although 555 does), so it's a bit of a shock.

Gosh darnit you guys...you are going to force me to try more juice if you keep going on like this. I have enough sitting here steeping to last through the end of the year.

zotzer, the good news is you can't buy Prime 15. It was only available as a sample if you purchased from Halo between April 27 and May 7. So, you will have to wait before you can buy it.

If you like Bloog RY4 then I think getting the Tribeca until Bloog offers their juices would be worth it to you. Otherwise, I think you will be fine holding off.

My last order of 555 is tasting like Dekang 555.

The Bloog RY4 is good but I find it a bit weak. It may be that I am just used to using a tank system but all I know is the RY4 tastes like weak to me. I use the ry4 from totally wicked eliquid to add to my ry4 carts. I have loved ry4 ever since I found it years ago. And remember, even though almost all venders sell RY4, all RY4 is not created equal

I didn't want to say anything because these things are so subjective, and my taste buds do crazy things with juice flavors, but my last order of 555 cartos doesn't taste like the previous orders that I loved so well. I think it's just a consistency thing, because the flavor is close, but I agree: more Dekang than what I was used to. Still has that 'smoky' feel, but the exhale has that Dekang flavor going on.

Just get some Tribeca and be done with it.

It's amazing the variations in what is called RY4. The flavor I like isn't really true Dekang RY4 (which I liked for a while), but more subtle and smoky. Bloog's does that pretty well, but yes, it's not an overpowering flavor like some RY4 juices.

I also thought I was having wacky tastebuds. I had one five pack of 555. Two of the five cartos had an exhale that tasted like pine needles. Never had Dekang, but it was very off-putting. Flavor going in was fine....flavor coming out was PineSol.

Ended up putting them in the "used carto" cup and boiling them in my weekly carto-cleaning regimen.
