Recently got a bottle of ry4... Stuck that guy in a cupboard to steep as fast as I could remember!

Was expecting something heavenly when I finally got it into my clearo, damn was I wrong.

First impressions were that it tasted like it had just danced through an indian spice garden (no racial!:p)

The hit was so insanely peppery and it left a weird feeling in my throat and lungs. Thinking that it would change, I decided to steep it a little more, however, it didn't really change much.

Maybe it's just that i like the more fruity and sweet flavors? I was hoping that ry4 would taste like a very sweet caramel and vanilla mixture, I know that it differs from vendor to vendor, but damn, this wasn't what i expected :(

Any recommendations for sweet tasting "dessert" juices that I could vape all day??

Feel free to share your opinions and suggestions!

My steeping method works absolutely the best with complex mixes just like RY4. It completely changes the complexion and will meld it into a tobacco with the caramel and vanilla tones......providing its a decent RY4 of course. I was amazed at the difference after 4 hours. Didn't know what an RY4 was supposed to taste like till I did the following.

I have a mini-crock pot, no temp control. It gets water hot but not too hot to burn. After you've left the cap off for a day, put the bottle, with cap on, in the crock pot and leave it in there for 3-4 hours. While its still hot/warm, shake it up good and put it back in the water, but unplug the crock pot and let it come to room temp. If so inclined, repeat the process again.
If you dont have a crock pot, you can heat up water in a pan, take it off the burner and let the juice soak in it, repeat after its cooled.

*dont forget to put the bottles in a ziplock first or you could lose your labels.

I have been trying different Ry's as well,
So far I love Tribeca only sometimes it mutes on me for a day or 2 don't know why,
I have found they are very different from vender to vender and enjoying the journey,
Ad so many more to try

A good place to start there is a thread here the very big ry4 round up I think
You can get a good Idea of what to look for

e six vapors has a sweeter version called re-6. I like it a lot, very smooth with subtle notes of vanilla, caramel nutty goodness. Sweeter than your avg. ry4 which is what i was looking for.

you might want to get a couple bottles of sweetner, i picked up a couple from MBV for like $3/ 15mls. If a flavor is lacking, I put a couple drops in my tank, give it a shake and there you go. Doesn't always work, as some flavors just won't get better no matter what you do. I do this with some of the fruitier flavors and add a tiny bit of menthol to give a nice crisp finish.

I really enjoy Deadly Sin from Good Life Vapor. It is a bakery/desert/tobacco blend. It sounds like what you mean.

Normally, RY4 is a mix of tobacco, caramel, and vanilla. Wherever you got yours from sounds like they improvised on the recipe. It is different from every vendor, but still it will have those main ingredients. Some vendors highlight the tobacco, while others make it more of a desert type vape. My favorite is from GoodEjuice. They have 2 versions: one is a regular RY4 and the caramel flavor is spot on. The other is called GJ4. In this, they use naturally extracted tobacco for the tobacco flavoring and it has the sweetness of the other ingredients. Both of them are ADVs for me.

This is interesting. Is it ready to go then, after a couple of times? Or, does it need to sit some more? Thanks. JD
