Saber disaster

I've been lovin' my 3.7/6 volt Saber touch up until this weekend when my stupid roommate had some friends that somehow managed to drop my saber in the TOILET!!! How they got it out of my room is beyond me but to take it in the bathroom? Ugh! Well if anyone wants a water logged custom saber for parts or anything pm me. Also I just had to say that it does still fire! (A true testament to Sir's amazing work)

I don't want to get rid of it but you can't tell me it's completely sealed, I can still hear water in the "sensor compartment" and it activates whenever the batteries inserted.

I thought about this as well but I'm far, far to paranoid to simply trust the iso after all the BBP training I had to do last year.

send it back he will fix it for a nominal fee...HE is one of the greatest supplier's on the forum he fixed mine after-- I did the two step on the atty connection...that's why I am a customer for life

Yep I would send it back and get it fixed. It probably isn't as expensive as you think. I love Sir for his customer service.

The unit is probably fine. I don't know much about the workings of the ST, but my guess would be the water is only in the sensor compartment, since it fires OK. All Sir would have to do is replace the sensor. I'm not an expert so this is just a guess, but you may want to contact Sir Lawrence and get his opinion. I had a question for him a couple of weeks ago at 2 a.m. and had a reply when I woke up the next morning.
