Saber Touch Holster

With permission from Sir Lawrence, I am posting this to get a feel for who might want a holster like those show below made to fit the ST. If you are interested, please let me know and I may end up trying to be a registered supplier on ECF. I am also currently working on a lanyard for the ST, but haven't got it finalized yet.

This next one is my daily wear holster that has gone through Cub Scout camp, and everyday life which is why it looks a little dinged up in some places.

I PM'd tazzmann and asked if he would post a pic of the Back Side of the holster. It's a real nice snapping belt loop. So it's easy to take off and put on a belt. I believe he is also coming up with a lanyard type of holder as well. He does beautiful work with leather!

Thanks Sir. I am sorry I haven't been around, my sister was in the hospital this last week having a beautiful baby boy named Deven and I spent the week watching her other two kids, so I had four kids all week! Let's just say I didn't have time to do much of anything. Now that her kids are back home, I am free again!

Anyway, if Sir L can't post a pic of the back of his, I have another holster in progress and will shoot some pics when finished, which should be early Monday morning. I would snap a picture of the back of mine, but it was a prototype and isn't the same as what I made for Sir L, so ones ordered would look nothing like what I have for myself.

Sorry, I haven't been on in a while, been really busy lately doing leatherwork. I will try and get a picture up of the backside within the next day or so. The one I was working on went out the door so fast I forgot to take a picture of it.

I would like to know if it scratches the end caps?? It looks pretty tight. But it does look nice. Could we do different colors? Like the blue front you have on the one in the pic? Im getting a Red ST and that case would look good with a red front.

It is a nice tight fit, but so far, it doesn't cause any scratches. I would PM tazzmann and ask him all of your questions, and how to get one.

I understand about the brass but what about the nickle plated? Im really not sure how strong that is.

I haven't tried it yet on the Nickel Plated caps yet... may over time leave marks, but I hope not.

It shouldn't leave marks. I use the same leather on guns and it doesn't hurt the bluing or nickel plating on them, so it should be fine. As far as colors, I can do JUST ABOUT any color, so PM me and ask me any questions and I would be more than happy to answer them.

As far as the big chuck, I am not sure as I don't own one and can't test the fit.

Thanks VRubin, I appreciate the kind words.

I am still working on a lanyard prototype, but it is proving to be difficult to get it to the quality that I like. For now, I am still looking to do holsters until I can work out the rest of the lanyard. I have an idea I am toying with that might work, but it is a little more time consuming as it deals with braiding leather. I will post more on the lanyard when I figure it all out.
