Okay, if I understand you correctly, when you put the CE4 tank on your eGo battery, the battery doesn't work. Is that right? If it is, does the battery work WITHOUT the tank on it?

I suspect that the battery may need to be replaced regardless, but if it works without the tank installed, I would recommend trying a different tank to see if you get the same results. It "sounds" like maybe the battery electronics are not solidly mounted inside the housing and may be shifting when you put a tank on it. Probably not worth trying to fix IF that's the case.

Good luck, HTH

Whenever I've had issues with the button, whether it was sticking or not functioning, it was a knock-off eGo. Even so, the few times I've had the issue, I've lightly tapped the button on a hard surface like a counter edge or a table edge, LIGHTLY, which loosened it up and fixed the problem.

You can actually tap it quite hard, but make sure not hard enough to damage it. Could just be some little particle in there that needs to be knocked loose.

Put eliquid in the tank

give the tank a shake or a flip to make sure the atomiser gets a splash

press the button
the button should light
hold the the tip up to your ear and you should hear a ticking popping sound whenever you press the button.

if you are not hearing the ticking popping sound something is wrong

I've cleaned my button with rubbing alcohol. Not sure if that is recommended or not, but I did see it in another thread. Just took a paper towel soaked a small bit then rubbed around the groove of the button.

So was it a problem then you cleaned it and then it worked?

I seriously wonder if you just mentioned that in passing without actually being relevant;

Oh; wait I wonder if the problem the OP has is he needs to press the button 5 times to turn it on?

Guys I know how to get it to vape I can vape it. Im just wondering if its normal that the button you click to vape, when you tighten the battery down the button doesnt push down. Its stuck

No does not sound normal.

Now I'm getting the impression it has nothing to do with the topper, just the battery alone, and that its the top piece of the battery that have rocked and slipped out but when you push it down, the button doesnt go it right;

if thats it then its not easy to fix; first off you'd probably have to open it up carefully in which case you risk popping the wires like i did last week;then lining it up to put it back together; i read a post about that last week; something about the button having a round part and a flat part, and when it disorients, you can get that sort of problem; the button may have rotated- oh maybe use a long nosed pliers and try rotating the button to see if it fits better.

Either the button has spun around- one end is square and the other end is round and if not fitted properly it will stick. Could also be the PCB has slipped out of place and the black button is not making proper contact with the button on the PCB.
If taking it apart be VERY careful as the wires are the close to the thickness of a hair strand and snap off very easily. Unless you have a jewelers magnifier quite hard to re solder. Have fixed a few and careful as I was on a couple of them I had to re solder.

No, it's not normal. With luck you will be able to fix it easily. If not, I hope you are not opposed to replacing it!

Good luck!
