They are o.k. but way overpriced. The refills are very expensive compared to using other devices.
Also the flavor is crap compared to using juices.
The problem with cigarette look alikes is that people think you have a cigarette. I found it is much better to have people wonder what the hell you have than to think you have a traditional cig.
Read this forum and you will get educated rather quickly. Congrats on your choice to vape but trust me, further exploration will make you much happier and satisfied.

People here mostly buy things under their original model number at normal prices or a few reasonably priced name brands that they know the real model number of.

It is possible Safecig is RN4081 which is the same model 7-11 sells as Njoy Npro or 2-n-1, also sold by Njoy, Aquavaporcig. And you can find parts at AZSmokeFree.com and Vaporking.com (no relation to Vapor4Life which has a KR808D-1 model named VaporKing). BTW Safecig is a ripoff rebrander that slaps their name on a model then charges outrageous prices. They charge $40 for a battery that should cost around $12, etc.

Thread about Safecig = RN4081
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rn-4081-super-mini/123660-safe-cig-rn4081.html

RN4081 is a model that has a small number of fans. The more preferred 2-piece is KR808D-1.

If you will be using RN4081 for a while then I recommend the manual batteries from AZSmokeFree, com - those should be totally sealed metal on the threaded end and safe from leaks caused by refilling and using blank cartomizers.

And yes some people here are prejudiced against minis. Just ignore that. Get what is right for you and when/if you decide you need bigger hotter hits or longer battery life, then you can get a larger model.

Safe Cig;

I had a friend who tried ecigs first. After many tries he settled on the 510. That was my first ecig. I was very happy with it, except for the short battery life. I then graduated to an Ego and am very please with it. Different strokes for different folks. Enjoy what you have and when you feel you know what you want, up grade.

Good luck.

Thanks for the input guys. I will check out all the forums as the school year winds down. I am a teacher and contracted to "not smoke." They okayed these as a quit smoking method to get off of tabbaco. So far, I do prefer these, just wish I would have found you all first! So for at school and such, I like the smaller ones to keep me from nic fits all day. I'm interested in something with more of a kick at home in the future if I can't wean off nic. I figured this would be trial/error. I'd like to experiment with refilling the carts I have now to save $ until decide if I want to give up nic altogether or invest more in something else. At this point, it is still better than smoking, so all is not a waste.

I didn't care for the RN4081 I started with because the battery life was just too darn short for me. I'd kill a batt in about 2 hours while the other batt was charging. If I wasn't near a power outlet all day, I was screwed. While I'm happy with my current setup, I think I'm stuck in the "More Power, More Vapor" trap. Must have bigger, better, stronger...

Also, I decided, I didn't want something that could be mistaken for a cigarette.

For someone who's not a heavy smoker (PAD +) or vaper, the cig look-a-likes might be the right choice.

I've actually had one in my mouth almost constantly while I switch. So, one battery is always on the charger. For my social outings it's not always appropriate to smoke whether e-cigs or the real thing. Definately gonna try to refill these. Any good threads that tell in detail (I'm not mechanical at ALL, part of the reason I chose a 2 part design. Just screw it on).

i started with it, can't believe how overpriced they are, i then changed to prefilled rn4081 carts that fit my safe cig batt, now i have moved to a dripomizer from azsmokes and get juices to drip, it's progress, you will not believe the diff in power with a manual rn batt, the flavor and vape diff and the price, i had to get it wrong before i got it right, we all learn.

SafeCig Bad Review: Way overpriced and the pre filled cartomizers tasted like crap (better than analogs, though). I used them for my whole first week of vaping while I found and read ECF. They kept me off analogs which made me happy, but when I found out what else was out there, they we're quickly thrown in the back of a drawer for backup emergencies only.
Welcome to ECF, and it only gets better from here on in.

SafeCig cartomizers have the caps glued on. You can squeeze some liquid in through the hole or perform a carto condom fill, but you are better off just buying some blank cartomizers at AZsmokeFree or buy a whole new setup that doesn't suck. If you're obsessed with cigarette shape with auto batteries, KR808D-1 (such as Bloog) are great, but most of us move on to mods (modified personal vaporizers) with manual batteries that last for days.
(yes, it would be quite a cold day in ... to revisit the back of my drawer ;-p)
