I recently purchased an ego kit and have a question regarding the length of time I have the power button pressed. My kit included 2x 650mah batteries and 2x 2.4ohm 510 atomizers. I am concerned about battery life as well as atty life. I am guessing the original atty's and batteries are of a higher quality than most. I recharge my batteries atleast once a day and havent had a battery run out of power yet.
My question is how long is to long. I love the warmer vape I get after ~5 seconds and up to about 10 or 12 seconds. I notice after 4 or 5 successive vapes the atomizer begins to get very warm to the touch. Am I pushing my kit to hard? Can the ego batteries take that much current? How long should I expect an atty or my batteries to last? I never let the cart or atty get dry and rarely drip(although I can see myself in the future dripping more often).

As long as your running a regular ohm Atty your good to go, However if you like the warmer vape and want more vapor and taste you may want to go with LR Atty's however this would decrease your batt life. You won't have to take as long of pulls though but you also don't want to over heat your batts because it will increase the chances of losing a Batt (so they say) I have been running LR 510 Atty's for a long time on my Ego/Riva Batts and have only lost 2 since they have come out, ya have to remember they are only Batts, but if you want the better vape sessions the LR is the way to roll on these Ego/Riva Type Batts, also the newer 900-1100 Ego/Riva will hold up a little better with the LR too, but you will be fine if you run the LR'S just dont over heat your batts and give them a bit in between vapes and your good to go, that's the secret to not killing them with the LR Atty's

I charge my 650 batteries every day, and one of them I only use when charging another battery. My wife uses one 650 and I use a 1000mah battery. I also generally charge my 1000mah every day.

this weekend I decided to let my 1000mah battery run out... took a full day and most of the next day for it to run out.

I easily do 5-6 second vapes, and occasionally the atty cone does feel warm, I generally let it cool a bit ( a few min )

I have had my batteries for a month now... nothing going bad yet... using the original attys as well. I have a couple of spares... but still using the original attys

Well if your meter and technique is correct 2.4Ω atties sound like knock-offs. You should try some genuine Joye 510's.

What resistance atty's come with the ego? I first tested 2 atty's from a friend which measured the stated value of 2.0Ω then tested the atty's from my ego kit. Both ego atty's measured 2.4Ω. Im fairly confident the two I have are 2.4Ω unless my 2.0Ω atty standards are knock-offs. lol I have seen so many atty's online i'm not sure what would be a genuine joye 510. Can you please provide a link.
thank you in advance
