To tell you the truth I don't remember the "lowest" voltage you can let your batteries drain and still be able to recharge them. I recharge mine at 3.5v-3.6v because that's when their performance falls off.

AW IMR batteries are good batteries for use in your mods. Your 2000mah battery is a 10A battery, so as long as you respect that limit (with headroom) in your builds you will be fine.

Ok, Susan, thanks. I'm running 0.8 ohms in a single coil RDA, that gives almost 5A draw, so I guess it's fine.
You've got plenty of headroom!:) Here is a blog by Baditude (our battery/safety expert) on safe batteries (when you are looking to purchase more).

Lithium batteries do not have a memory effect, like NiCads. You can charge them any time you feel like it.

When people say a battery will be good for 500 cycles it means that the battery will hold 80% of it's original charge.

A cycle is from discharged go fully charged so, for example, if you charge it up when it gets to be half empty you can charge it 1000 times.

A battery will read about 4.2 when it is full. When you start to use it it quickly falls off to the mid 3s and then goes in to a long gradual decline, when you spend most of your vaping tine. As it nears the end it again falls rapidly to under 3 volts, you can usually tell this point cause it is the "Why am I not getting as much vapor?" point.

At some point under about 3 volts you start to hurt your battery. Using it at a low voltage will give bad vapor and shorten the life of the battery. Nothing horrible, explode ot burst into flames, will happen except you will have to buy a battery sooner.

Like p7willm said, anything under 3.0 volts will technically start eroding the cathode of the battery.

That'll shorten its lifespan, just like overcharging would do (and overcharging is more immediately dangerous). Some chargers might object to recharging a battery if the voltage drops too low, while others will pulse charge and work with it as long as the voltage isn't completely off the charts.

That having been said, it's unlikely you're pulling it under 3.0 volts even if you don't test. It'd taste really weak and the battery is essentially dead at that point.
