Thestaar, yes I was reading the price for the charger. I thought that is what you were interested in.

The NiteCore I4 is a very good and popular charger. I have the i2 model and really like it. Fast Tech is also an excellent source for Panasonic batteries at an excellent price, Panasonic CGR18650CH Rechargeable 2250mAh 3.7V 18650 Lithium Batteries. They work very well in the VAMO.

I was talking about the shippingcost. It was 30 bucks at exhalevapors and 33 bucks at nhaler :p

But anyway i think I order the nitecore :)

Thestaar, that is painful for international shipping. However, the Nitecore i4 is a solid, safe charger that is very convenient to use. I'm sure you will like it.

Since Xtar and Efest now have chargers with displays I expect Nitecore won't be far behind in offering something similar that you could get at Fast Tech with free shipping. You might want to hold off a bit in ordering a backup charger to see what Nitecore might offer.

WOW, That LCD Efest charger sure looks nice probably going to have to buy that :D

I wouldn't leave anything charging overnight or while I'm not home and while that may be on the side of caution, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Have you seen those videos of peoples laptop batteries catching fire, cell phones, etc, etc?? I'd rather not have to deal with that.

The way I see it, all it would take is one hungover china-man assembling a charger which is then shipped to my door, and boom--house fire.

YMMV

...Sorry for the title, I mean overnight

...

Safe is a Funny Term.

Is it "Safe" to leave a $5.95 Charger on a Pile of Oily Rags charging No-Name Batteries you got off e-Bay Overnight.

Many, if not Most, would say, No.

But here is where it gets Convoluted. What is "Safe".

A High End Charger inside a LiPo Bag sitting inside a Glass Bowl Charging Brand New, Never Stacked, AW IMR's?

I don't leave Batteries Charging when I go to Sleep or Leave the House. Sure, there is only about a 1 in 100,000 chance that things will go Three Mile Island and Burn my House Down.

But if you know me, and the Things that, Against Insurmountable Odds, have happened to me in my Life, you would Understand where I'm coming from.
