Nitecore is OK charger, but 750mA when you recharging 2 small batteries is too high.
If you are recharging 4 small batteries then current of 350mA is very good.

If you place batteries in bays 1 and 3, or 2 and 4, the charging current is dropped to 375mAh. Also if all 4 bays are loaded. This is in the manual, and how I charge my AAA rechargables. The downside is it takes longer to charge 4 normal sized lion batteries at the same time.

That's why I said: when recharging TWO small batteries. It is 750mA - too high.

On the other side charging 4x 18650 (eg 3400mAh) will take more than 15-16 hours at only 375mA

And that's why I said put the two batteries in skipped slots to charge at 375, not 750 :)
When I charge 4 18650s, takes about 5 hours, but they're the 2000mAh AWs, not the higher cap like you' may be using.

Not many people know that, and no safety mechanism will prevent them from using "wrong" slots. That's why I like Xtar chargers. Set the switch to the right current and you are done.
AW 2000mah 5 hours for half discharged batteries is a looong time. Sharing channels also not good at all for higher capacity 18650.
New batts are coming, like 2900mah high drain Panasonic ncr18650pd. 3400mah Panasonic used by eVic ....
AW will become the past, soon. Vapers are moving to higher mah.

Nitecore is OK for its price, good CC/CV, but sloooow for 18650, and (to correct myself:) user can accidentally charge two or one 18350 in 750mA mode.

You're absolutely right .... I suspect many don't read the instructions or even a serious review on the charger, and just plug it in and load it up. I've seen the same with Xtar chargers, theres posts on this forum wondering what the switch is for. Doh.

Way too many regard their vaping batteries & chargers in the same light as their rechargeable AA & AAAs, never understanding the risks & dangers these batteries are capable of with their hi amp power. Theres a reason these batteries aren't carried in local B&M hardware stores... liabilities if it blows or vents from ignorant end users!
