Well within the "safe zone". On a freshly charged VTC5, you're only drawing 5.25 amps with that build. vape it up!
Yes they can be "safely" used that low but when you get down that low the slightest drop in Ohms can make a huge difference. I have two RDA's with .4 Ohm builds and I have no desire to go any lower.
I'm one of those crazy folks who do that. If it's over .5 ohms, I want nothing to do with it. Between .2 and .5 for this guy. Some like it hot as they say

Lot's of people do, I vape between .18 ohms to .38 ohms daily, but prefer .2 ohms, and there're people who vape unsafe with ridiculously low ohms under .1 ohms, which I would not do or recommend.
That's not crazy. It's still safe with the right battery and knowing where your remaining battery level is. Almost like me I don't want anything to do with .4 ohms or higher.

More Flavor, more vapor, a warm-hot vape, depending on build and person to person being able to use less nicotine and still quickly get a nic fix.
The Sony Vtc5 is rated 30 amp continuous and 60 amp burst [more or less 6 seconds] there is plenty of leeway in using that battery.
I don't know where you are getting 0.5 from.
you original post says 0.8 ohm (and it's supposed to be 0.75 btw)
Just started rebuilds have a Helios and that's easy enough to build. I'm not interested in subohming yet but maybe much sooner than later need to buy some great batteries for new mod on way I see a lot of people recommend these sony vtc5 batteries are these the best for both mec & reg mods? Mec mod will more than like be next toy. Would rather buy one type battery than accidentally grab wrong bat for device I'm use. Currently I use MVP and don't obviously have these issues but new mod will be here today or Monday and I have no batteries gotta fix that lol.
If you reduce the level of nic/ml by 1/2 but double the amount of e-liquid you vape due to sub-ohming you are still getting the same amount of nicotine unless you are expelling the cloud of vapor so fast that it doesn't have time to get absorbed..

And you probably need to do some homework. You need a DMM or an ohm reader. Your MVP only reads out to 1/10 not 1/100. You may need to get a voltmeter to know when you need to recharge your batteries. You can't over discharge them or they will not recharge and you will have to throw them away. Know and understand ohms law - volts, wattage, resistance, amps.
I understand the laws and do have a great volt meter just trying to get everyone's input for battery that would work good for both. Just don't want the hassles of my dyslexia blowing a bat in my face or lesser issues obviously not an issue now for me since I'm not subohming and have regulated units but don't want multiple batteries for multiple units if I can get one that will work good for both.
The Sony VTC5 2600mAh 30amp are probably the best on the market. They are flat top so if your mod is not adjustable and requires a nipple top battery these may not work without some fiddling around.
I thought I had a bookmark to a list of all sized batteries and recommendations but I can't find it. If I do, I'll add to this post.

That's true in some cases, but I still use a lot less nicotine, I drip 3 mg and go through 7-8 ml a day which is better than 2-4 ml of 2 ml of 36mg or 3-4 ml of 24 mg a day. Also when you're dripping you're going through liquid a lot quicker than in any non-rebuildable or a rebuildable tank with higher resistance, so you receive more nicotine in a shorter period of time. So I lowered my nicotine intake by at least 2/3.
Where did you find the information on the 60 amp burst? I can't find it online, and want to read it somewhere for my own piece of mind, before I attempt to use my 22g kanthal.
