After hearing about the guy in Florida, and wishing for the best possible recovery for him, I've started reading about the safety issues with PVs and VVs. Does anyone have some info they would like to share about the batteries used in the Provari and the safety capabilities of the device. I am using the IMR red batteries that I also purchased from ProVape when I ordered my Provari. I know the system has capabilities of shutting off during malfunction, but after hearing about such a horrible accident, I think we all need to realize a lil more with what we are working with.

i think as long as the electronics in the provari dont mess up, ur pretty safe, the over discharge/over voltage protection along with the hot spring. and a single batt vs stacked. and if you use the recomended batteries, they let off enough current to safely run the booster. so im pretty confident that im safe. i try not to think about it. cell phones used to blow up, but im not paranoid every time i make a phone call.
