I don't understand the Provari cost complaints.
When I smoked I spent an average of $4120 per year on cigarettes.
To me buying a Provari seems inexpensive in comparison.

If a person had enough money to 'splurge' on a pack of cigarettes per day it wouldn't take long for that to equal the cost of a Provari.

End of game.

My main concerns were reliability, repairable and safety. ProVari met or exceeded my needs in those areas and I didn't have to sit on some website pressing f5 all day and hope I might be able to purchase it. I don't have the time for that.

I don't think they're all that expensive when considering what I spent on cigarettes. I smoked Sherman MCDs and American Spirits.

With the new taxes on cigarettes that are proposed here in Minnesota and look like will pass (another $2.38 over the current $7 for Spirits and $14 for MCDs), I could buy a ProVari every payday for what cigarettes will soon cost here.

Besides what everyone else says, I like all the safety features built in, for piece of mind.

I've got an evic, sigelei flat top zmax as other vv devices. They all serve a purpose and would be fine for an individual. Different strokes for different folks.

I have no doubt that in the end, the provari will be the last mod standing and still functional. The simplistic design and quality build will ensure this and readily apparent when in your hands. Not having to trash it if it fails makes it a sound purchase.

That said I'm using my mechanicals and sub ohm coils at the moment so the provari is used almost exclusively by my girlfriend.

On the surface the cost of a provari seems high, but not if you are looking at the long term and something "permanent"

For myself, it is the high quality build, attention to detail, it's simplicity, consistancy, reliability, and durability. The Accuset Technology and PWM gives the Provari the smoothest vape I have experienced. And, it just feels good in the hand like no other mod. I have peace of mind knowing that should something not work post-warranty, Provape will continue to service and repair it at a reasonable cost.

Oh, and I just thought of another plus for the ProVari--in spite of how sought after it is, if you want one, you don't have to get on pre-order lists, stalk websites, or have to wait months on end for the next available unit! I have been waiting almost a year for this other mod, well, I think I am still waiting, I barely can remember why I wanted the damned thing.

Guess I got told! Have fun!

You are really taking this personally, but it is not meant to be that way. Vape on in any way you can and we will all do the same. Nobody can (or should) tell you're stuff is crap and that you should not post about it; the inverse of that is true as well.

We should all have fun; after all, it's not like were killing ourselves anymore.

You can tell people you have a " Provari" is the real benefit. LoL. Losers!
Honestly, vape world is moving in warp speed. Month seems like year in advancement, with that said so does price. 140-160 on new mod now days seems normal if your looking for better quality. But few months ago, sub 200 dollar mods were insane to me when I was holding my vamo as a rookie, and hard to justify when my 50 dollar mod was giving me good vape. Now, still a rookie but with more experience and have thousands in mods and tried about every high end mod that is obtainable within reason.
Conclusion: Provari still in rotation with my other daily mods and do not see that changing anytime soon. Kinda finiky with rbas at lower ohm and shorts, but you will understand to work with it.
I have had around 6-7 provaris, btw. Got everyone in the family one and sold a few off to control population.

provari with extension cap = 220.oo brand new
1 carton a week 60.oo x 4 weeks a month = 240.oo
yes it is way too damn expensive. lol saving 20.oo the first month.
2 more months and 4 will have paid for themselves.
maybe i should sell 1 or 2...not
